We’re premiering a new collaboration from two names with serious history behind them.
Cevin Fisher and David Morales link up on Sunshine, a vocal house cut featuring Romina Johnson, out on Morales’ DIRIDIM Records… and we’ve got the first play for you.
The track works with a steady, low-slung groove and crisp percussion, keeping things simple and letting Johnson’s vocal lead. There’s a clear nod to classic New York house, but it never leans on nostalgia. Morales and Fisher give it just enough movement and warmth to feel current without chasing trends.
Johnson’s performance is a highlight. Her delivery is assured and unforced, sitting right in the centre of the mix and giving the track its emotional shape.
Both Fisher and Morales are long-established figures who know how to build a record that works in a room. Sunshine lands in that familiar space: understated, effective and built for repeat plays.
