Lord Leopard & Little Boots – Spin Back [Future Disco]

Little Boots (Victoria Hesketh) is a busy mom of two now, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to get you on the dancefloor! Collaborating with Lord Leopard, “Spin Back” has an Indie Disco vibe that has summer written all over it! It’s been three years since Little Boots’ last LP, so even a single track is welcome news!

Jafunk – Satisfied feat. Devin Tracy [Luckie Star Records]

Jafunk isn’t an artist willing to rest on his laurels, so getting new music out is a priority. “Satisfied” is a lovely soul-tinged Disco gem featuring the seductive vocals of Devin Tracy. Jafunk not only creates hot, live-instrument disco music, but he has also just released a book that will help indie artists make money! You can check that out here!

Moodssupply – Middle Of The Night [Rosevalley Records]

If you are ready to have a good time, Moodssupply‘s “Middle Of The Night” will help you get your groove on! Packed with sexy female vocals and plenty of pew-pews and hand claps, this track isn’t going to hit you over the head with funk, but it will set the scene for whatever you get up to in the middle of the night!

FLAUR – Hold On (Art Of Tones Boogie Mix) [Cosmocities]

Sometimes, good things come to those who wait, and this is the case with the remix EP of FLAUR‘s “Hold On.” Originally released in 2022 with more of a yacht rock feel, this track has been given a 2025 Boogie update by Art Of Tones, and the song has never felt so right!

Cerrone & Christine and the Queens – Give It To Me [Malligator/Because Music]

July 4th marked the release of the “Catching Feelings” EP, a collaboration between Cerrone and Christine and the Queens. The 4-track EP contains the title track and three more superb modern disco gems, including a new version of “Supernature” with Purple Disco Machine. “Give It To Me” lets Christine (Rahim Claude Redcar) shine on vocals, with tension and vulnerability simultaneously intermingling for maximum effect.

The WildViolets – Maybe (Bustin’ Loose Remix) [The Disco Express]

Sometimes you need a song to chill to or end an evening with, and The WildViolets‘ “Maybe” certainly fits the bill. A song about an uncertain romance, The Disco Express label head Bustin’ Loose ups the BPM a little, making the song perfect for one last slow dance with the person you want to take a turn around the dancefloor with.

Kraak & Smaak – Corsica ’80 (Opolopo Remix] [Dafia Records]

Another song getting a 2025 update is Kraak & Smaak‘s 2022 hit “Corsica ’80”. The new Opolopo remix refreshes the song with the addition of some pretty stanky synths (think Stevie Wonder’s “Boogie On Reggae Woman”), layered with lighter synths on top of the main riff and some flutes for good measure. The result sounds familiar, but with a fresh new vibe.

Aroop Roy – Let Me in feat. Andre Espeut [Kaoz Theory]

If you need to hear something on the more mellow side, Aroop Roy and Andre Espeut are here to deliver a slice of Daytime Disco with “Let Me In”. This track walks the line between Disco and House easily, and Espeut’s vocals are as soulful as ever. Let this one wash over you, and you’ll be feeling good!

Eric Redd – Bon Bon Vie (Gimme The Good Life) [Electronic Soul Records]

If you decide to cover a classic Soul/Boogie track, do it like Eric Redd with the TS Monk classic, “Bon Bon Vie”. Redd’s version honors the original, but the BPM is made for the modern-day dancefloor. Redd has had a multi-faceted career, including being a dancer on Soul Train, a stint as a ballet dancer, and then began his singing career in 2010. Eric Redd has a lot to offer, and this latest release shows that!

Alex Cherney & The Brothers Nylon – The Sugar Slide [Trialtone Laquer Inc.]

Alex Cherney & The Brothers Nylon‘s latest release, Pool Party, is packed with special guest vocalists, but on “The Sugar Slide”, Cherney takes on the vocals, and they are smooth as silk! This Apres Disco/Funk track is a slow burner, easing you into its clutches, and you will not fight it. Just enjoy the sugar slide.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Dolce Vita [Decca Records]

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is celebrating this season of her life and career, and “Dolce Vita” is like a new bloom opening, fresh Disco for a new day! Ellis-Bextor’s upcoming LP Perimenopop isn’t shying away from aging; rather, it offers the freedom that life experience has to offer.

MGR Mike – Believer (Extended Mix) [Sparkle Motion Recordings]

MGR Mike is a one-man hype machine for modern Disco music! His love of the genre is refreshing, and you can hear that love in “Believer”, his ode to all of the glitter, magic, and freedom that Disco has to offer! The percussion break mixed with the vocals in the middle of the track build perfectly to the last third of the song. If your hands aren’t in the air by then, check your pulse!

The Phenominal Handclap Band – We Are Worlds Away feat. Morgan Phalen [Nublu Records]

The Phenomenal Handclap Band has always walked the fringe of Disco, and in the case of their new track “We Are Worlds Away”, they are in what I like to call Post-Disco territory. The vibe is early 80s Giorgio Moroder with a splash of ABBA and a spoonful of Yacht Rock. Together, the track is spacey and cool, sounding like no one but The Phenomenal Handclap Band.

Touch Sensitive – A Team Spirit feat. Connie Mitchell [Future Classic]

“A Team Spirit” sounds like the feeling of summer. This Nu-Disco jam is light, bright, and relaxing. As the first teaser track from Touch Sensitive‘s second LP, Connie Mitchell’s vocals are sweet and inviting, plus this song has flutes, so I am in! I never want to jump in a pool again without hearing this track!

Save The Robots & Heretics Of Disko – Barry’s Secret Sauce [Nice & Nasty]

Who doesn’t love the idea of Barry White describing what the sound of Disco is? Save The Robots (Robbie Dunne) and Heretics Of Disko (Desy Balmer) found this amazing audio clip and layered it over a super funky bassline, swirling synths, claps, and magic is made. As Barry said, a perfect salad takes all kinds of ingredients.
