Founder Elon Sharar is inviting acquisition discussions around an established browser-based music platform, its audience, and its technology.
Chosen Masters founder Elon Sharar is seeking a buyer for the music-technology company he has spent close to ten years developing, with a proposed acquisition that could cover the software, intellectual property, source code, brand, domain, user accounts, search presence, and associated social channels.
The company began as an online mastering service, then expanded into a wider platform for music creation, release preparation, promotion, commerce, and artist discovery. Sharar says Chosen Masters now has approximately 90,000 registered users, recurring revenue, and organic traffic tied to established search terms including online mastering, audio mastering, AI mastering, and even an AI music video agency, which was recently released.
He is inviting conversations with companies, investors, and operators that may be interested in acquiring the complete business, with an asking range of C$150,000 to C$300,000. Exact terms and included assets would be determined during acquisition discussions.
From Online Mastering To A Wider Artist Platform

Chosen Masters entered the market with a fairly direct proposition: give artists access to browser-based mastering without installing additional software or waiting for files to finish processing.
Mixmag covered the service in 2022, when the platform centered on cloud-based mastering with real-time control over processing decisions. That mastering engine remains the company’s primary product, with adjustable intensity, multiple processing modes, instant comparison, and WAV or MP3 export.
The current Chosen Masters platform now covers a much broader portion of the artist workflow. Its production applications include AI mastering, automated stem mixing, a browser-based music studio, AI-assisted music generation, audio samples, plugins, MIDI generation, and music-video creation.
Separate areas cover artist profiles, track uploads, fan email management, label submissions, music discovery, merchandise, event ticketing, and direct music sales. Chosen Masters also operates a mastering API for companies that want to add its processing engine to their own products.
That scope is an important part of the acquisition proposal. A prospective buyer would gain an existing mastering business alongside software that addresses creation, distribution preparation, audience development, and artist commerce from one account.
The Audience And Search Assets
Building music software is one expense. Finding people who return to it and creating sustained search traffic are separate challenges, and Chosen Masters already has several audience channels in place.
Sharar reports approximately 90,000 registered users and an email database of a similar size. He also reports between 60 and 150 daily organic clicks from Google depending on the season, with additional traffic coming from Bing and other search engines.
The proposed acquisition may also include associated SoundCloud accounts with approximately 94,000 combined followers and a Facebook page with around 10,000 likes. Those channels give a buyer existing distribution for product announcements, educational material, artist campaigns, and future subscription offers.
Chosen Masters currently earns recurring revenue and previously reached approximately C$3,000 per month, according to Sharar. He designed the company around automation and low operating overhead, which has allowed him to run it without a large staff.
These figures were supplied by Sharar and have not been independently audited by Magnetic Magazine. Any buyer would need to confirm traffic, account activity, email permissions, revenue history, operating expenses, and audience ownership during formal due diligence.
What Could Be Included In The Sale

Sharar is open to discussing a complete acquisition of Chosen Masters rather than selling a single application or licensing one part of the technology.
The proposed sale could include:
- The Chosen Masters company and brand
- ChosenMasters.com and related domains
- Proprietary source code and intellectual property
- The real-time AI mastering engine
- The developer mastering API
- The browser-based WASM music studio
- AI stem mixing and automated mixdown software
- AI music-generation and music-video applications
- Registered user accounts and approved marketing data
- Search rankings, published content, and other SEO assets
- Associated SoundCloud and social-media channels
- Artist commerce, merchandise, discovery, and profile systems
The final asset package would depend on the buyer, the offer, and the terms agreed between the parties.
A music software company could integrate the mastering engine into an existing subscription. A distributor could connect mastering, artist profiles, release preparation, and commerce inside its current service. An artist-services company could concentrate on the audience and creator-facing applications, while an operator with technical resources could continue improving the full platform.
Why Elon Sharar Is Selling Chosen Masters

Sharar’s decision comes after close to a decade working in music as an artist and software founder. He says he now wants to concentrate on business-to-business AI products outside the music industry, including software for legal and professional services.
The sale is therefore centered on a change in professional direction rather than the closure of Chosen Masters. The site remains active, users can continue accessing its applications, and the business continues to produce recurring income.
That distinction deserves attention because the buyer would be acquiring an operating company with existing customers, products, traffic, and revenue. Sharar has also designed Chosen Masters so one person can manage much of its day-to-day operation, although a new owner could add development, marketing, customer support, and partnership resources.
What A Prospective Buyer Should Examine
I review a large amount of music software from the artist side and the business side, and the main question here is direct: does a prospective buyer want to acquire an existing product and audience, then improve conversion and retention, or fund a comparable company from an earlier stage?
Chosen Masters already covers several expensive areas of development, including real-time browser audio, account management, payments, content publishing, and API access. It also brings years of search history in a competitive category where newer domains may need considerable time to gain comparable placement.
A buyer should still complete a full technical, financial, and legal review. That process should cover code ownership, third-party dependencies, hosting expenses, payment records, subscription retention, security history, privacy consent, and the transferability of user data.
The AI generation products also deserve separate legal review covering training material, commercial permissions, generated output, and any external services used by the platform. The reported audience and traffic figures should be confirmed using first-party analytics before a final purchase agreement is signed.
If those records support the figures provided, Chosen Masters presents a buyer with a developed music platform, an established search presence, and direct access to a large group of independent artists.
