LP is taking rainsticks, shaman drums, frame drums, and ocean drums into the wellness space, with instruments built for sound therapists, healing practitioners, retreats, drum circles, and group sessions where the goal is less about performance and more about getting people present.
The collection was designed with Karen-Renée Robb, a visual and vocal artist who founded The Music City Alliance for Sound & Music Healing and Frame Drum Wisdom. Her artwork appears across several pieces in the line, giving the collection a more personal feel than a plain set of session instruments.
This Is Percussion for Rooms Built Around Presence
The Sound Vibrations Collection includes 11 new pieces: two rainsticks, three 16-inch shaman drums, four 16-inch frame drums, and two ocean drums.
The small rainstick is priced at $69.99, while the large version is $99.99. The 14-inch ocean drum is $99.99, and the 16-inch ocean drum is $149.99. The frame drums are $79.99 each, while the shaman drums are $129.99.
This is a different kind of LP release because the instruments are being positioned around wellness and shared listening. That puts them closer to sound baths, breathwork rooms, guided sessions, retreats, and private reset spaces than the usual stage or studio setup.

Rainsticks and Ocean Drums Handle the Environmental Side
The Sound Vibrations Rainmaker Sticks use internal spines and natural bead filling to create sustained rain-like movement. LP says the bead sound can mimic falling rain or ocean waves, which gives them a clear role in slower sessions where the room needs texture without melody.
The two rainsticks have a 2-inch diameter. The small version measures 23.75 inches long, while the large version measures 47.25 inches long.
The ocean drums push that water idea further. When tilted, hundreds of tiny beads move across the internal surface to imitate lapping or crashing waves. The 14-inch version has a 2-inch depth, while the 16-inch version has a 2.5-inch depth and a dual-chamber design that lets bead filling move between two synthetic heads.
These are the pieces I would expect to see in sound baths, meditative listening rooms, and wellness retreats where the session needs soft motion without a strict musical part.
The Frame and Shaman Drums Bring the Human Pulse Back In
The frame drums have 16-inch natural wood frames with a 2.75-inch depth, scalloped edges for hand comfort, and pretuned synthetic heads. They come in White, Blue Butterfly, Orange Butterfly, and Flower of Life designs.
The shaman drums also use 16-inch by 2.75-inch natural wood shells, with Black Napa synthetic heads and interior rope handles. They can be played by hand or with the included soft mallet, and they come in Black, Mandala, and Phoenix designs.
This is where the collection moves from environmental sound into group pulse. A rainstick can set a room. A frame drum can bring people into a shared pattern without needing chops, charts, or a full percussion background.
That connection to quieter listening culture also brings to mind Magnetic’s older Ambient Meditations series, which lived in a similar zone of slower listening, decompression, and music as a way to shift attention.

LP has enough history in percussion to make this kind of collection feel grounded. The company is not reaching into wellness from the outside. It is taking familiar hand-percussion forms and shaping them for rooms where tone, touch, and group connection come first.
