Bluesound has announced two new entries into its multi-room lineup, the PULSE CINEMA and the PULSE CINEMA MINI. These streaming soundbars bring a full redesign of the company’s earlier models, blending immersive Dolby Atmos performance with low-profile design and simple setup.
The PULSE CINEMA is a 47-inch soundbar with 16 drivers, upfiring speakers, and a total system power of 500 watts, aimed at TVs 55 inches and larger. The smaller PULSE CINEMA MINI comes in at 33 inches, delivering 280 watts through angled drivers and dual 4-inch woofers. Both models are designed to deliver cinematic sound while fitting seamlessly into living rooms, bedrooms, or condos without the need for bulky AV receivers.
Performance And Design

Bluesound’s goal with the new models was to combine audiophile-grade engineering with everyday usability. The result is a pair of soundbars that can be wall-mounted or placed under a TV, automatically detecting orientation through DSP-powered sensing. HDMI eARC, optical, and analog inputs cover connectivity, while both units support Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and BluOS streaming.
The larger PULSE CINEMA features a driver array that includes a dedicated center channel, dual woofers, and upfiring speakers for Dolby Atmos. The MINI uses a compact design with angled drivers and virtualized Atmos height effects, giving smaller spaces an immersive upgrade. Each unit includes dedicated listening modes for movies, music, and late-night sessions.
Both soundbars integrate with BluOS, Bluesound’s multi-room platform that supports more than 20 streaming services, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. Playback reaches up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution, with MQA support included. The BluOS app, available on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows, provides full browsing and playback control across devices.
Wireless Surround And Smart Integration

One of the most flexible aspects of the PULSE CINEMA line is scalability. Users can expand a setup by pairing the soundbar with Bluesound’s SUB+ subwoofer and additional stereo solutions for rear channels. This creates a wireless surround sound system without the need for a traditional receiver or cabling.
Both models also integrate with smart home platforms, including Control4, Crestron, and RTI. This makes them suitable not only for direct consumer use but also for professional home installations. For Bluesound, the focus has been to deliver simplicity without losing performance.
Pricing places the PULSE CINEMA at $1,499 USD and the PULSE CINEMA MINI at $999 USD, with pre-orders starting September 24, 2025. Shipments begin worldwide on October 24. Color options include black with a dark grey fabric grille for the CINEMA, and either black or white with tan grille for the MINI.
For listeners who want cinematic sound without the clutter of traditional AV setups, the new Bluesound soundbars expand the company’s Simple AV philosophy while keeping high-resolution audio and modern connectivity at the core.
