If you live in the United States, you’re probably spouting out hot takes that 2024 will be the year that drum & bass is FINALLY excellent. Still, if you’re anywhere else in the world, you know full well that it’s been going strong for decades, albeit always slightly under the radar.
Because drum & bass, arguably more than any other genre of dance music, is malleable to the point where you can’t put it in a box; it’s more a style than a genre. As corny as the former half of that last sentence is, the latter is best exemplified by the list of producers below. To further showcase just how much diversity there is in sound and talent going on in the DnB scene, we’ve had to split it into multiple parts as there are too many to fit into a single list.

They’re excited about new tracks from Tantrum Desire, Chronology, Brian Brainstorm, Drumsound, and Bassline Smith on a Summer compilation.
With semi-separate working styles, they’re planning shows in Europe, a tour in India, and intriguing collaborations. Fans can look forward to more releases, possibly an EP or single, from Document One.
