Spotify is a fantastic platform whose only massive, glaring, and artistically terrible flaw is that it prioritizes singles over albums. Single songs get pitched and land on algorithmic playlists whose listeners might hear that one song and be none the wiser that it’s part of a far great whole.

And since it’s safe to assume that most of us use Spotify as the primary way to consume music, it’s equally as safe to assume that all too many of us would be sad to know just how much insanely good music we’re missing cause the platform would instead feed us the best singular tracks instead of the best albums. So with that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite albums that have dropped so far in 2023 so you can give them a quick scan and save the ones you want.

Why keep typing when the music should speak for itself?! So let’s dive in…
