Colombian-born, US-based DJ and producer ICE THOMPSON links with fellow Medellín artist Jose M on “Say Hey”, a stripped-back club cut that flips a classic ODB and Kelis vocal into something deeper, tougher and built squarely for late-night floors.
For ICE THOMPSON, the release adds another chapter to a career that has stretched across more than a decade. A key figure in Medellín’s electronic scene, he has built an international reputation through releases on labels including Stereo Productions, Roush and Hottrax, alongside appearances everywhere from Ibiza and Space Miami to Berlin’s underground circuit. Along the way, his productions have earned support from names including Jamie Jones, Hernán Cattáneo, Green Velvet and John Digweed.
“Say Hey” taps into that same club-focused mindset. Direct, punchy and unfussy, it feels designed for packed rooms and long sets, where a recognisable vocal and a locked-in rhythm can still do serious damage.
