The latest release on Future Avenue welcomes Jonathan Fratamico from Fort Lauderdale, United States back to their label with his new Resilience EP including three brand new originals. Our stand out selection is the third track on the EP entitled “True Joy” which takes you on a 9 minute journey of rhythms and new turns around every melodic corner. Jonathan has held his own, regularly opening up for Progressive legend Hernan Cattaneo in South Florida and in clubs around the world.
Kyotto makes his Movement Recordings debut remixing Hobin Rude’s “Umbra” into his world of groovy bass-lines and emotive melodies. Kyotto sustains an understated yet confident club energy, reshaping the groove into a rippling funk fueled delight while rolling percussion and riveting stabs push the momentum forward.
Manchester (UK) based artist Mazayr creates a hypnotic yet groovy and organic new original entitled “Hypnose de la Lune” which is released on the Musique de Lune label.
The new three-original-EP by the Turkish artist Hakan Ozurun, with the title track “Magnatar” is a stand out track. Hakan’s style is mostly about a balance between deep and atmospheric progressive house. Strong bass lines combined with airy melodic feelings. Dark but not depressive inspiring positively and a decent nest for deep feelings for listeners in that electronic music style.
Alex O’Rion is continuing the new releases with “Sericum” on Meanwhile providing a smooth-roasted bass groove sits below deep kick and cavernous sub-bass pattern. A shuffling hi-hat top line provides subtle urgency as a mellifluous synth line flows like honey as the track reaches its mid-point. A reverb-soaked lead line adds harmonic variation as a vibrant breakdown creates the perfect moment of reflection. The rhythmic melange once again hits its mark again in the second half, accompanied by the array of opulent melodic elements introduced earlier in the piece.
Late Night Music welcomes back Russian producer Ewan Rill, for his second solo EP for the label featuring two exceptional progressive house cuts. The title track “Alley Of Protons” combines warm pads with just a hint of early 80s synth work.
