There has been a clear shift in how high-level artists approach recording environments, and Pür Recording & Residence is directly in that space. Located on Cunda Island along Türkiye’s North Aegean coast, the facility is built around a simple idea: remove the separation between where you work and where you live, then support everything at a professional level.
Pür is a full production environment with five purpose-built studios, integrated living spaces, and a workflow designed to keep sessions moving without interruption. The facility is already operational and has handled mastering work for artists including The Rolling Stones, Seal, and Paloma Faith, as well as new recordings by pianist Fazıl Say.

Built for full-session production
The core of Pür is its flagship studio, which centers around a restored SSL 4000 G+ console paired with Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 monitoring. That combination immediately signals the type of work the space is built for. It supports traditional recording workflows while also handling modern immersive formats without requiring reconfiguration of the room.
The live room spans over 100 square meters and includes instruments such as a Fazioli concert grand and a Steinway B211, which give the space flexibility across genres, from classical recording to contemporary production. The remaining studios cover composition, production, and mastering, all connected so sessions can move between stages without logistical friction.

Monitoring is handled throughout the facility using Telegrapher speaker systems, which are integrated directly into each control environment rather than treated as a separate showcase element. That approach keeps listening consistent from tracking through mastering.

A studio model built around environment
What separates Pür from traditional studio builds is how much attention is placed on the surrounding environment. The residential side includes 12 guest rooms across multiple buildings, along with a private beach, outdoor pool, and dedicated dining program led by an in-house restaurant.
That setup supports longer sessions and full project cycles.
Artists can arrive, settle in, and stay focused without leaving the property. For writing camps, full album production, or extended recording periods, that continuity changes how sessions unfold.
There is also a dedicated Dolby Atmos screening room, which adds another layer for projects that move between audio and visual formats. That is increasingly relevant as more releases are tied to visual content, film scoring, or immersive playback formats.

Where destination studios are heading
Pür reflects a broader direction in studio design. Instead of isolating recording spaces in urban environments, more facilities are being built as destinations that combine production, living, and downtime into a single system.
That model works because it removes the small disruptions that usually break creative flow. Scheduling, transport, accommodation, and session logistics are handled in one place, which allows artists to focus entirely on the work.
With an in-house engineering team led by experienced producers and engineers, the technical side is already aligned with international standards. That gives the space credibility beyond its location.

Pür is now open for bookings across recording, mastering, and residential stays. The concept is straightforward, but the execution is what sets it apart. This is a facility designed to support complete projects from start to finish, without forcing artists to adapt to the space around them.
