GIK Acoustics has introduced its new Amplitude line of acoustic treatment panels, marking the company’s next evolution in design and performance. The range debuts GIK’s patented recessed plate technology, delivering a sleeker visual profile and improved acoustic response. Each panel is finished in Camira fabrics, known for their durability and transparency, making the collection as visually refined as it is technically precise.

A New Standard in Acoustic Design
The Amplitude line replaces GIK’s long-running Alpha and Impression series, merging customer feedback and two decades of acoustic engineering into a unified system. The new recessed plate design sits flush with the frame, eliminating the raised edges found on earlier hybrid panels and providing a more seamless aesthetic. Beyond its appearance, the recessed design enhances the acoustic efficiency of each unit by optimizing how sound interacts with the panel’s surface.
The collection is designed to perform in both professional and residential environments, offering clean, modern lines that complement high-end studios, home theaters, and listening spaces. Each model balances absorption and diffusion to control reflections while preserving clarity, helping rooms deliver an accurate and consistent sound field.
Models and Finishes

The Amplitude line includes three core models:
- Amplitude Acoustic Panels – A broadband treatment for general absorption and diffusion, starting at $79 / £129 / €119.
- Amplitude Bass Trap Panels – Focused on taming low-end build-up and improving definition below 100 Hz, starting at $119 / £159 / €149.
- Amplitude Corner Bass Traps – Designed for maximum low-frequency control in corners, starting at $209 / £179 / €199.
Each unit can be customized through GIK’s new 3D product configurator, allowing users to preview combinations of materials, patterns, and finishes in real time. Options include 20 Camira Cara fabrics, 12 plate patterns, and 5 finishes such as Beech, Walnut, Grey Elm, Black, and White. The panels are available in four standard sizes—square, narrow, portrait, and rectangle—while the corner traps come in standard and demi (half-height) options.
Built for Function and Form

According to David Shevyn, Chief Product Officer at GIK Acoustics, the goal behind Amplitude was to advance both the function and form of acoustic treatment. “The recessed plate is not just an aesthetic choice; it also improves the acoustic behaviour of the panel significantly,” Shevyn said. “The result is panels that look striking, but more importantly, give creators and listeners a room they can trust.”
Following its 20th anniversary, GIK Acoustics also unveiled a refreshed website and brand identity designed to make configuring and purchasing panels easier than ever. The new site and 3D configurator underscore GIK’s focus on accessibility, letting users build custom solutions tailored to their specific rooms and acoustic challenges.
