Vladimir Cetkar & Dr Packer – Don’t Make Me Wait (Dr Packer Extended Remix) [M2MR]

When I first saw Dr Packer (Greg Packer) tease this song in April, I knew we were in for a treat. Macedonia’s Vladimir Cetkar has been making waves on the Disco landscape for several years, and Dr Packer is a modern-day Disco legend, so the partnership seemed long overdue. “Don’t Make Me Wait” features lovely strings that are grounded by some funky bass and Cetkar’s terrific vocals. There is a great guitar solo around the 3-minute mark that breaks up the vocals at the perfect time. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait for more music from these two artists in 2025!

MGR MIKE & Fanacy – Summertime (Birdee’s Endless Summer Radio Mix) [Sparkle Motion Recordings]

As far as I’m concerned, Birdee‘s remix of MGR MIKE & Fanacy‘s “Summertime” should be considered the soundtrack to summer 2025! The track sounds like an ocean breeze mixed with suntan lotion and cocktails. Fanacy’s vocals are light as air in the mix, which was funky to begin with, but Birdee knows how to add the right fills of rhythm guitar and synths to make the song a modern Disco classic!

Jérémy Delvila – Big Brother [Jolene Records]

If you like French Touch with a heavy nod to its Disco roots, then Parisian producer Jérémy Delvila‘s “Big Brother” is going to hit all of the right notes! This track is an upfront party starter, full of crafty samples and space when the track needs to build again. If your party hits a lull, this is sure to bring people back to the dancefloor!

Yuksek – She’s Mine [Razor-N-Tape]

Yuksek is an artist who releases his music through several different record labels and has found a home at Razor-N-Tape for his latest EP, Déjà Vous. The track harkens back to the early days of Indie Disco or Nu-Disco, featuring bright vocals by Isaac Delusion and Yuksek’s signature French Touch style.

Introverted Funk – Fan Out [Star Creature]

Los Angeles-based Introverted Funk (Daniel Valle and Veronica Rosa) have been building their brand and independently releasing digital singles since 2018, but after a meeting with Star Creature label head Tim Zawada, they knew it was time to get some new tracks out on vinyl! “Fan Out” may be a B-side, but it is every bit as strong a single as “Tell You”, and is a love letter to the Disco and Funk music that have been influencing these artists for years.

Woolfy vs. Projections – Seeds [How Do You Are?/Too Slow To Disco Neo]

Los Angeles Duo Woolfy vs. Projections has been in the business of making Daytime Disco since 2000, and the addition of their track “Seeds” to the incredible compilation THE SUNSET MANIFESTO Volume 2 was meant to be. This is lifestyle music done right, easy, breezy, sexy, and good any time of day or night!

Satin Jackets – Control feat. Seint Monet [Golden Hour Recordings]

Satin Jackets Cruise Control will be released on July 18th, but until then, “Control”, featuring the lovely vocals of Seint Monet, is here to breathe some nu-disco vibes into your life! This song is effortless sounding, like a cool ocean breeze on a hot summer day. No doubt, there will be more of this to come on his upcoming full-length release.

Phunque – Ready For Love (Andy Bach Nu Disco Remix) [Disco Machine Records]

Berlin-based Kute Jeurgens, aka Phunque, is “Ready For Love”! Are you? Andy Bach‘s Nu-Disco remix adds a little extra funk to the original track, making it perfect to get the groove started, any day or night. Grab your boogie shoes and someone you want to get down with for this hot track!

Nadyne Rush – Sad Lady (Souls Groove Remix) [Fulltime Production]

Nadyne Rush is experiencing a renewed interest in her music via her recent dance music singles, and the world is better for having her voice in it! “Sad Lady” sounds far from sad on this funky remix by Souls Groove. There are plenty of Disco strings, pings, pews, and funky bass to get you moving!

Dave & Maurissa – What About My Love (Michael Gray Extended Remix) [Z Records]

The original version of “What About My Love” was a slower-tempo soul track, and with Michael Gray‘s impeccable Disco sensibilities, this remix takes us straight back to Studio 54 glory! The strings wrap Maurissa’s vocals in a blanket of satin and sequins. It’s hard to believe the song didn’t always sound like this!

Rosario Cristofaro – From My Soul (Da Lukas Remix) [Tropical Disco Records]

Italy’s Rosario Cristofaro is not new to the game, starting his career in the mid-80s, and has run the gamut from Future Funk to House to Disco. “From My Soul” lands firmly on the Disco side of things, with Da Lukas adding a high-gloss sheen to the original track, beckoning you to get on the dancefloor and leave your worries behind!

The Supermen Lovers & OneRepublic – Starlight (The Fame) [Word Up Records]

I love it when a surprise collaboration comes along, and it’s actually great! This is the case with The Supermen Lovers and OneRepublic‘s “Starlight (The Fame)”. The song has all of the Pop stylings that you would expect from OneRepublic, but also the Disco punch that The Supermen Lovers are known for.

Luc de la Croixx & Stevedreez – With You [Retro Gleam]

If you’re ready to groove to some smooth summer grooves, then crank up Luc de la Croixx and Stevedreez‘s “With You.” This tune plays like a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway with the wind in your hair. This is Nu-Disco at its finest!

Fleur De Mur – One Last Kiss [AOC Records]

Fleur De Mur makes breaking up sound so good! This soulful songstress knew when her relationship was over, but she still wanted “One Last Kiss” to make it final. Working with Georges to craft a timeless Disco track was pure genius, and there is no question that Fleur De Mur is having the last laugh! Check out her brilliant new album Be My Own Man now!

Parcels – Yougotmefeeling [Parcels Music GBR]

If you’ve seen Parcels live, you know that they border on being a jam band, but what that type of playing creates is a spontaneous sound on their recordings. “Yougotmefeeling” is joyous in every way, and the band sounds tighter than ever.
