We had a chance to catch up with him and pick his brain about career updates, early inspirations, and more in this exclusive interview. So let’s dive in…

What initially drew you to the world of music, and how did your early exposure to classical and jazz composition shape your artistic vision?

It may sound like a cliche, but I never had a choice. Ever since I can remember, I have known that this is what I will do for the rest of my life, including music.

I started playing piano at an early age, which helped me build a strong musical foundation. Harmony, rhythm, and musical theory taught me to improvise and be creative.

Reflecting on your first release in 2018, how do you feel your music has evolved from that point to where you stand today?

I think my music is constantly evolving. I like to explore new sound territories and stay versatile.

My first productions were disco and obscure oriental re-edits. Later, I droned into more psychedelic club music, and these days, I’m working on an LP with original songs, including some of my own vocals on them… So I feel like I’m always traveling as an artist.

How has Tel Aviv’s vibrant culture and music scene influenced your sound and artistic direction?

Tel Aviv plays a roll. I mean, you have so many talented artists around you, so you are unconsciously influenced by your environment. It’s natural. It is a town where psychedelic tendencies, Middle Eastern culture, and Western fantasies meet.

How does your approach differ when preparing for a DJ set versus producing music in the studio?

They are not that different. I mean, I’m jamming both in the club and in the studio. Improvising. Dancing (a little bit). I was filling time and space with sounds.

What advice would you give to young artists and producers looking to make their mark in the music industry?

Listen to great musicians. Be humble. Don’t look for shortcuts, and do your thing.

Where do you see your music career heading in the next five years, and what goals do you aim to achieve?

I want to go places with my live band project and my club sets, but you know, as long as I keep creating, I’m happy, and I’m sure I will be exactly where I should be.

Looking forward, how do you want to be remembered in the music industry, and what impact do you hope to have on future generations of musicians?

Oh lord, that’s a big question! Let’s keep it to our interview in 2050, when I will be old and hopefully wise.
