Junkie XL is releasing the score for the Robert Rodriguez-directed film Alita: Battle Angel, produced by James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez. Junkie XL is helming the project under his real name Tom Holkenborg.
The movie will be released on February 14 and the soundtrack the day after on February 15 via Milan Records. One track has been released so far, “What’s Your Dream?” which uses strings, shimmering drums and piano to provide some atmosphere to whatever scene it works for. Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly and Mahershala Ali all star in the film.
