LARSa returns to Magnetic Magazine Recordings with his remix of D&S’s “Time & Space.” Released on October 2, 2026, the track is the label’s 82nd signing and carries catalog number MMR082.

The release is available exclusively on Beatport, where it is listed under Progressive House. For readers who followed his debut with us last year, this is another opportunity to hear his work on the label.

LARSa’s Return After “Moment In Time”

We first introduced LARSa to the label with “Moment In Time,” released in July 2025.

Our interview around that release gave readers an account of the California producer’s background, from growing up in Fair Oaks near Sacramento to playing drums in the Bay Area band Daytime Nightlife. He discussed learning instruments at school and playing guitar with his father before beginning electronic production in 2015.

By the time of that conversation, Lars Anderson was living in Long Beach and helping organize free beach parties with his partner and friends during the warmer months. He described a local house scene supported by clubs, bars, DJs, and people putting on their own events. That participation is worth mentioning alongside his releases because it explains how much of his music activity involves direct contact with other artists and listeners.

Remixes For Josh Butler And Collaborations With Swanya

His connection with Josh Butler offers another documented example.

In May, I wrote about LARSa’s remix of “Take Control” for ORIGINS RCRDS, following his 2024 appearance on the label’s House Heads Vol. 2 compilation with “Tape Machine.” The remix began after Butler shared stems with his Sooper community. LARSa submitted his version for feedback, revised it, and secured a place in the label’s tenth-anniversary remix package.

Collaboration has also been a regular part of his output. Earlier this year, our production feature on Swanya and LARSa’s “Postcards from the Club” detailed a process that combined hardware drum programming, software synthesis, and original vocals. Swanya explained that they would begin ideas in Lars’s Ableton project, then transfer audio into Logic for further writing.

Their account gave readers specific examples of how they exchange ideas and develop tracks together.

LARSa has been equally direct when discussing his studio habits. In the production tips he shared with us last August, he recommended completing arrangements, resampling existing material, recording original vocals, and getting feedback from a small group of trusted listeners.

He also encouraged producers to change their approach when repetition starts limiting their ideas. Those recommendations provide context for an artist whose catalog includes solo releases, collaborations, and remixes.

D&S’s “Time & Space” Remix Is Out Now

His remix of “Time & Space” adds a new release to that catalog and reconnects him with Magnetic Magazine Recordings after “Moment In Time.” D&S receive the original artist credit, with LARSa credited as remixer. The listing identifies the track at 124 BPM in C major, giving DJs the details for considering it alongside other progressive house selections.

D&S’s “Time & Space” with the LARSa remix is out now on Magnetic Magazine Recordings.
