Basic Wavez is getting an early start on the annual music production software sales season with its Ultimate 2026 Bundle, bringing together ten of its releases from the past year into a single collection at 60% off. Available beginning October 26, the package includes three plugins, hundreds of synthesizer presets, thousands of samples, and MIDI material developed with contributions from established electronic music producers and sound designers.

The timing puts Basic Wavez ahead of the usual Black Friday promotions, but the contents deserve a closer look, particularly considering how much the company has expanded its product catalog. What began as a sound design business tied to Bound to Divide now includes standalone production plugins, artist collaborations, and tools that address specific parts of the music production process.

The collection covers drum programming, percussion, pitch modulation, synthesis, vocal production, and effects, with material aimed primarily at melodic house, progressive house, techno, afro house, and organic house.

I’ve followed Basic Wavez’s development through its earlier Serum releases, and the company’s move toward standalone plugins alongside more conventional sound libraries is an interesting direction.

Producers evaluating this offer will mainly consider how much of the collection fits their regular workflow, especially given the differences between the three plugins and the synthesizer-specific preset libraries.

Three Plugins Address Different Parts Of Production

The bundle includes three plugins: Dr. Fill v3, Shake and Bake, and SLIP. Each addresses a different production task, giving the collection some functionality beyond its downloadable audio and preset content.

Dr. Fill v3 focuses on drum fill generation. Producers can generate fills, construct drum kits using their own samples, and export the resulting patterns as MIDI. The plugin also includes automatic key detection and an option to retain a particular rhythm while exploring alternative sounds.

That combination could be particularly relevant when programming transitions between arrangement sections. Drum fills frequently require several small adjustments to timing, velocity, and sound selection, and generating an initial rhythm that remains editable gives producers a starting point without committing them to a finished audio loop.

Shake and Bake focuses on shaker percussion, using recordings from percussionist Jeroen de Rijk, whose credits include work with Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and David Guetta.

For house producers who regularly layer percussion, a dedicated plugin that provides access to recorded performances offers an alternative to manually arranging individual shaker samples.

SLIP handles pitch modulation using a probabilistic system that introduces variations into incoming audio. Its applications include subtle pitch instability associated with tape recording, irregular modulation, and more pronounced pitch changes.

All three plugins support VST3, AU, and AAX formats, with compatibility listed for Windows 10 and macOS 12 or later.

Serum 2 And Diva Users Get 846 Presets

A substantial portion of the collection is dedicated to synthesizer presets, with three libraries totaling 846 patches.

Movement I contains 344 presets for Serum 2, developed by nine artists. Each preset includes accompanying MIDI material, letting producers examine musical examples tied to the sounds or use the included patterns as starting points for their own compositions.

The artist contributions are worth considering here. The broader bundle features names including Vintage & Morelli, Steven Weston, Martin Graff, Jordin Post, Matt Fax, SHRI, Niko Ava, Forniva, Paperwings, and Domestique. These contributors bring different melodic and progressive electronic approaches, giving the libraries a broader range than a collection built around one producer.

Visions Vol. 5 Platinum adds 362 presets for u-he Diva, with matching MIDI and WAV material. The sounds cover basses, pads, leads, plucks, arpeggios, and keys, providing a collection oriented toward the synthesizer’s analog-modeling capabilities.functionality from the package.

More Than 3,300 Samples Cover Drums, Vocals, Effects, And Foley

The sample portion of the bundle contains four dedicated libraries, with an additional 362 WAV files included alongside the Diva presets.

Massive UK House is the largest individual sample collection, containing 1,768 sounds covering drums, basses, piano material, effects, and other elements associated with UK house production.

ALLKNIGHT Vocal Samples provides 200 vocal recordings, including hooks, ad-libs, and atmospheric material. It includes dry and processed versions, letting producers apply their own effects or use the supplied processed recordings.

FX Mega Pack Vol. 3 contains 796 samples covering impacts, transitions, drones, and build-up material. These elements are especially useful in arrangement, where effects can create continuity between sections or highlight key changes in instrumentation.

Elements Vol. 1 adds 315 foley loops and one-shots recorded from physical sources. These recordings can be incorporated into percussion layers, atmospheric elements, or more experimental processing chains.

The four dedicated sample libraries total 3,079 files. With the 362 accompanying WAV files from Visions Vol. 5 Platinum, the total reaches 3,441 WAV files, which aligns with the advertised figure exceeding 3,300.

That range of material also introduces a familiar consideration when evaluating large sample collections. The number of included files provides some indication of scale, although the relevance of individual recordings to a producer’s preferred genres and workflow will ultimately determine how much of the library they use.

In my interview with ModeAudio co-founder Niall McCallum, we discussed how sample developers organize their catalogs, maintain consistency, and respond to growing demand for synthesizer presets alongside traditional loops and one-shots.

Basic Wavez’s latest collection represents a related approach, combining established sample formats with instrument presets and dedicated processing tools.

Pricing, Upgrade Discounts, And Compatibility

The Ultimate 2026 Bundle is available for £189.60, reduced from its listed combined price of £473.99. That represents a saving of £284.39, approximately 60%.

Basic Wavez is also offering an additional discount to customers who already own products included in the collection. The intention is to reduce the cost of upgrading to the complete bundle without requiring existing customers to pay the full promotional price for material they previously purchased.

The exact additional discount depends on existing purchases, so customers will need to check their eligible upgrade pricing.

The three included plugins support VST3, AU, and AAX formats, and support Windows 10 and macOS 12 or later. Minimum processor requirements include an Intel i5 or Apple Silicon M1.

Supported DAWs include Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, Reason, Pro Tools, and Fender Studio Pro.

The preset libraries require their respective synthesizers for full editing functionality. Serum 2 is necessary for Movement I and Ambient Explorations Vol. 1, while u-he Diva is required for Visions Vol. 5 Platinum.

The additional audio and MIDI content can be used independently of those instruments where the supplied file formats are supported.

The collection can be purchased directly through Basic Wavez’s Ultimate 2026 Bundle product page.
