That listening step matters here. The term progressive house can mean a patient, melodic record that would make sense in a Hernán Cattáneo set, or a much bigger festival track. If you’ve read my favorite progressive house albums and mixes, you know which side of that conversation usually gets me excited. A genre tag alone won’t tell you whether your track belongs on a particular playlist.

It has room for the deeper and more melodic end of progressive house, even though the playlist title says melodic house. Listen to a handful of the current tracks and ask whether your production would make sense beside them.

DailyPlaylists offers a free standard submission route, so this is a sensible place to check after Magnetic. Open the playlist you have in mind, play several recent selections, and use the curator’s submission link if your track sits comfortably with them. Read the curator’s stated preferences before sending anything. A real match says more than a broad genre label on a profile.
Soundplate: Chill Progressive House
Soundplate’s Chill Progressive House submission page is another direct route for a softer, melodic record. The page labels its main genre as melodic house, which is a good reminder to judge the actual playlist on its music. A track that sits near progressive house but has a calmer feel may belong here.
Soundplate says its Spotify submission process automatically follows specified accounts and a playlist when you authorize it. Read that step before signing in and decide whether you’re comfortable with it.
There’s also a Deep Organic & Progressive House submission page, although its listed main genre is melodic techno. Listen before choosing between the two.
SubmitHub: Curators Who Accept Standard Credits
SubmitHub offers free standard credits that you can use with curators who accept them. Search for progressive house, check the curator’s current playlist, and confirm that standard credits are accepted before sending your song. Availability varies from curator to curator.
I’d spend a free credit on a smaller playlist that consistently plays your kind of progressive house before sending the same track to a larger list with a loose electronic tag. How to Tell Whether Your Track Fits
Play the first few songs in the playlist, then jump farther down and listen again. Is the curator choosing gradual builds and longer mixes, or short vocal tracks with immediate hooks? Does your record belong next to those specific selections at roughly the same point in a DJ set? The answers will help you decide where to send it.
I come back to this when listening to progressive house from artists such as Nicolas Rada and Robin Thurston. Their music gives an idea time to develop, which can work beautifully on a playlist whose curator appreciates that approach. A playlist centered on quick vocal hooks may want something else, even if its title includes progressive house.
Keep the pitch short. Give the curator the correct Spotify track link, name the playlist you listened to, and describe one or two musical details that make the match clear. If you’re sending an extended mix, say so. You can save the long biography for anyone who asks.
Pitch Unreleased Music to Spotify’s Editors
If the record hasn’t come out yet, you can also pitch it to Spotify’s editorial team in Spotify for Artists.
This is a separate, free submission path for an upcoming song. Spotify says to deliver the music at least seven days before release, and you can’t pitch a song that’s already live. Spotify
Fill in the song details while it’s still upcoming. Once the track is live, you can send its public Spotify link to independent curators and to Magnetic’s free playlist submission form. No playlist pitch guarantees an add, so start with the curators whose current selections give your music a fair hearing.
