Re.You returns to his Younion label with “Higher,” a new solo single built around warm melodic pressure, late-night pacing, and the kind of emotional club energy that has become central to the label’s identity.

The release is out now as Younion013 and has already picked up support from Damian Lazarus, Mano Le Tough, &ME, Steve Lawler, Hardt Antoine, ELIF, Jonathan Kaspar, Trikk, and more. That kind of early DJ support says a lot about where the track sits. “Higher” is not trying to be overly complicated or heavy-handed. It is built for those parts of the night where the room is locked in, the energy is still rising, and the track has to create lift without losing its sense of control.

The production leans into hypnotic movement, warmer textures, and a clean emotional arc.

It is club music with a human center, which is the part that has always helped Re.You’s best material connect beyond pure DJ utility. There is a mood here, and the track gives that mood enough space to build rather than forcing the payoff too early.

Younion Keeps Its Focus On Connection

Younion has always felt like an extension of Re.You’s larger creative language, and “Higher” fits that arc clearly. The label is built around connection, emotion, and electronic music that can hold up in real rooms, whether that means a dark club, an outdoor sunrise set, or a more intimate room where the details matter a little more.

That is also why the track’s restraint feels important.

A lot of melodic and deep club records chase scale right away, but “Higher” seems more interested in controlled lift. The groove keeps the track moving, the atmosphere opens gradually, and the warmth in the production gives it enough shape to work in different settings.

A Solo Cut Built For Late-Night Rooms

Re.You has always had a good handle on music that feels useful without feeling disposable, and “Higher” stays in that space. It has enough emotional tone to sit on its own, but it also has the kind of forward motion that DJs can use when they need to guide the floor into something warmer and more open.

That balance is probably why the support list is so wide. Damian Lazarus, Mano Le Tough, &ME, Steve Lawler, Hardt Antoine, ELIF, Jonathan Kaspar, and Trikk do not all play the exact same kind of set, but they do share an interest in records that can carry feeling while still doing the functional club job.

“Higher” keeps Younion’s identity moving in that direction.

It is melodic without getting glossy, emotional without getting too soft, and direct enough to work as a set piece without losing the understated character that gives it replay value.
