Disco + Design returns to Miami Art Week for its second edition with a new venue, expanded programming, and a refreshed installation that links disco culture with contemporary design practices. The event runs December 4 through December 6 at BeyBey in Miami Beach and centers on a detailed re-creation of a 1970s listening room built inside the restaurant’s hidden back gallery. Visitors can attend vinyl sessions, panel discussions, and design-focused programming that connects music, interiors, lighting, and audio culture through a shared creative approach.

The 2025 edition is curated by founder Michelle Leshem, co-founder Sam Baum, and interior designer Michael Dolotowski. The installation features collectible furniture, hi-fi audio systems, lighting fixtures, and objects from UMA Objects, Soon Atelier, Furn Object, Rich Aybar, Ninefrtn, Arrived Aliens, and animator Tom Laroc. All pieces displayed at Disco + Design 2025 can be purchased or collected.
A Listening Room Installation Focused on Music, Design, and Hi-Fi Audio
The new installation inside BeyBey stands at 440 square feet and reflects the styling of a 1970s curator’s listening den. The design team organized the space to highlight the relationship between audio hardware, furniture, and layout choices, supported by a curated selection of disco records that align with the eras linked to each design piece. Hi-fi audio has an expanded presence this year, with systems from Soundlux Audio, Shelter Audio, and a Soon Atelier build created specifically for the event.
BeyBey, the host venue, recently reopened with a full redesign led by Dolotowski. The restaurant’s focus on contemporary interiors aligns with Disco + Design’s aim to explore the connection between music presentation and spatial character. The venue’s hidden back room, formerly an art gallery, provides a controlled environment for focused listening and detailed design work.
Daily Vinyl Sessions and Panel Discussions With Artists and Designers

Disco + Design 2025 introduces two cultural tracks. The Listening Salon presents vinyl sessions with musicians and producers on hi-fi systems, and Culture Talks brings designers, curators, and creatives together for discussions that examine music’s influence on design and design’s influence on music.
Programming includes:
- Thursday, Dec 4: A Listening Salon with Mia Moretti from 2:00 to 3:00 PM EST, moderated by Jaime Sloane.
- Friday, Dec 5: A Listening Salon with Danny Daze from 1:00 to 2:00 PM EST, followed by a Culture Talk titled ANALOG ROOTS + FUTURE FORM from 4:00 to 5:00 PM EST with Eric Gould, JPORT, and Dan Saroussi, moderated by Sam Baum.
- Saturday, Dec 6: A Culture Talk titled STILL SPINNIN’ from 3:00 to 4:00 PM EST with Soul Clap, Michelle Leshem, Michael Dolotowski, and Kat Bein. An invite-only closing event runs from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
