It’s no secret that we love deep house here at Magnetic Magazine, and when a newcomer makes a strong first statement, just like what Rodrigo Etcheto has done, we’re all about it.
The San Antonio-based producer’s debut “Everything Flows” is masterful: a chill, melodic deep house EP that glides effortlessly between the club and the quiet. Built on hypnotic grooves and lush, melancholic textures, the project captures that perfect middle ground: music you can dance to or simply drift away with on headphones.
Each track feels like a warm & spacious exhale, balancing rhythm and reflection in equal measure. Etcheto’s sound is both expansive and intimate, drawing from classic deep house sensibilities while carving out something uniquely personal. Opener “112358” features warm, analog-sounding pads and fluttering arps, while standout track “Caiphul” leans into a plucky progressive house area. It’s music for late nights, long drives, and everything in between: where energy meets introspection, and everything, indeed, flows.
To accompany the EP, Etcheto created trippy music videos that fit the songs like a glove.
