Frankie Alpha brings yet another pumping new anthem

His latest in a string of seasonally inspired singles, UK producer Frankie Alpha returns with festival banger ‘Pisco Biscuit’ this July 10th. The bass-centric track serves to tease Alpha’s debut EP, which will officially launch his electronic sound after years of experimentation.

A feat in sound engineering and momentum building, Alpha describes his new single as “A combination of played bass and programmed sub bass serving up some warmth and funkiness throughout.” Blending airy vocal snippets with an array of spontaneous sound effects, Alpha delivers an auditory experience that is both danceable and euphoric in its development. The almost seven minute long track moves seamlessly through electronic build ups and pieces of original melody that are reminiscent of disco classics. Soulful ad-libs serve to contrast the track’s electronic foundations, and what endures is an evocative rhythm and satisfying beat.

The artist explains, “There’s elements of funk & soul here, as well as hip-hop in the rhythm section. Interlaced throughout are my notes on a general feel I’ve had many times dancing to messy/happy disco re-edits on a Sunday, at a festival as the light fades.”
