
The GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival has been providing thrilling entertainment for ten years now, attracting both motorsports fans and music enthusiasts. The festival’s unique Motorsports Music Festival concept has brought together high-speed racing and top-notch musical performances at the prestigious Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. As the festival gears up for its tenth anniversary from June 2 to June 4, 2023, fans anticipate another unforgettable weekend full of exciting drift competitions, races, artist ridealongs, and electrifying DJ sets.
Throughout the past decade, GRIDLIFE Midwest has curated an exceptional experience, showcasing a diverse mix of musical talent, including the likes of Outkast rapper Big Boi, Grammy-nominated producer Kaskade, trap pioneer Waka Flocka Flame, iconic bass trio Keys N Krates, superstar indie prankster Oliver Tree, and renowned DJ/producer A-Trak. This year’s lineup continues the tradition of genre-defying performances, featuring headliners like dubstep producer Subtronics, multi-instrumentalist bass-producer Boogie T, rock-fueled bass maestro Sullivan King, and hard-bass technician Wooli, along with support acts including Qlank, Dogma, and Able Grey.

1- First Artist Drift Ride Along with RJD2 and Ryan Tuerck in 2015
This not only marked the beginning of our successful Artist Ride Along program, it was also the first time a Pro Drifter drove at a GRIDLIFE event.
2- Artist Show You Suck created GRIDLIFE anthem ‘Back To The Grid’ in 2019
In 2019, Chicago – raised rapper Show You Suck unexpectedly created GRIDLIFE’s anthem “Back To The Grid.
3- Surviving Tropical Storm GRIDLIFE in 2019
In 2019, GRIDLIFE was faced with a daunting incoming storm and had to remain on high alert. As dark ominous clouds formed in the sky and moved toward the venue, GRIDLIFE had to halt all driving and call for everyone to take shelter. Some chaos ensued with torrential downpour and camping tents flying. Finally after the storm passed, the sound of car horns rose from the campgrounds with the attendees ready to continue the weekend and they were back on the track 15 minutes later.
4- Flosstradamus headlines first GRIDLIFE Midwest with music in 2014
Having always dreamed of bringing music to the racetrack, the GRIDLIFE team sought out help from their friends in the Chicago electronic dance scene and thus GRIDLIFE Midwest festival was born! They set up one tiny stage by the pond at Gingerman Raceway with American DJ and producer Flosstradamus headlining the night – leaving fans and attendees with a night to remember! The GRIDLIFE team knew then that they had put something special together when they least expected it. Since that night, the GRIDLIFE brand has grown and thrown festivals in multiple cities across the United States, hosted 100+ track weekends and are celebrating the 10th anniversary of GRIDLIFE Midwest this year!
5- 53-car GRIDLFE Touring Cup field in 2022
GRIDLIFE launched a grassroots wheel-to-wheel single class sprint race during COVID in 2020 and have seen it grow into a 53-car field within two years!
6- Mud Party in the campgrounds in 2018
Attendees proved that they will have fun at GRIDLIFE Midwest despite any weather condition and had a mud party in the campgrounds!
7- Keys N Crates in the rain in 2015
Keys N Krates performed an unforgettable set in the rain as fans danced the night away.
8- We surprised Oliver Tree with a matching dixie cup themed kei truck
The infamous jokester Oliver Tree was treated to an epic surprise from the GRIDLIFE Midwest team as they presented a matching kei truck to the artist.
9- Our first GRYP / LYFT Taxi session in 2021 when race cars and drift cars were on track at the same time
Marking another first in the GRIDLIFE Midwest story, race car drivers and drift car drivers made history as they drove on the track simultaneously
10- Kavinsky performing stateside for the first time in 10 years (2022)
The illustrious French artist took the stage in America for the first time in a decade for a special performance at GRIDLIFE Midwest!
