For WonkyWilla, touring has never been solely about moving from city to city. It has always been about building a world.
That world enters its most ambitious phase yet with the announcement of the “Wonking On Sunshine” Tour, the largest headline run of the bass artist’s career. Spanning more than 30 cities across North America, the tour marks a significant evolution for a project that has steadily grown from underground favorite to one of bass music’s most distinctive live experiences.
Inside WonkyWilla’s Biggest Chapter Yet: The “Wonking On Sunshine” Tour
“Beyond excited to finally announce my biggest headline tour yet,” WonkyWilla shared alongside the reveal. “I’ve got some of my favorite artists joining me along the way, and I can’t wait to bring this new chapter of WonkyWilla to cities all across the country.”
The statement captures what makes this tour feel particularly important. Rather than simply expanding geographically, the project itself continues to evolve creatively, introducing larger production concepts, deeper fan engagement, and a growing cast of collaborators that help bring the WonkyWilla universe to life.

From Headline Clubs to Major Festivals
The tour will bring WonkyWilla to a wide range of venues and audiences throughout the year. Stops include cities such as Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, San Francisco, Vancouver, Minneapolis, Denver, and Miami, while major festival appearances at Lost Lands, Dancefestopia, Deep Tropics, Same Same But Different, Elements Festival, and Valley of the Seven Stars further underscore the project’s continued rise.
The schedule reflects a career entering a new tier of visibility. In recent years, WonkyWilla has steadily built momentum through a combination of high-energy performances, memorable festival appearances, and a commitment to creating experiences that extend beyond the music itself.
That growth is also reflected in the supporting lineup. Across select dates, fans can expect appearances from Strawberry Disco Circus, BUKU, SoDown, Dirtysnatcha, The Sponges, Jason Leech, Hostage Situation, Smith., Montycler, Sloth, Mystic Methods, and additional special guests.
Building the World of WonkyWilla
What separates the WonkyWilla project from many of its peers is its emphasis on immersion. The inclusion of Strawberry Disco Circus continues a creative partnership that has become increasingly central to the live experience. Through theatrical performers, dancers, aerialists, and visual storytelling, the collaboration transforms traditional bass shows into something far more expansive.
That approach mirrors the artist’s broader vision. While the music remains the foundation, the community surrounding the project has become equally important. Fans are not simply attending a show; they are participating in an evolving creative world built around imagination, connection, and shared experience.
As the “Wonking On Sunshine” Tour prepares to hit the road, it represents more than a milestone for WonkyWilla. It serves as the clearest indication yet that the project’s next chapter will be its most ambitious, immersive, and far-reaching to date.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
