Watch: Datsik Firepower Tour Trailer—Highlights From The First Week On The Road

Not too long ago we gave a little shine to the crazy ass DJ booth featuring real-time 3D-mapping that Datsik is using on his Firepower Tour. The “Vortex” DJ booth was built by the visual gurus at V Squared Labs. If their name doesn’t ring a bell, their work within the EDM culture landscape will no doubt be familiar. Check out our feature on V Squared Labs and see a bunch of their work. That booth, together with Datsik’s dark, dirty dubstep makes for a mind-blowing sound and visual affair to remember.

Now that his tour is underway (see dates here), Datsik just released a new trailer with highlights from the first week on the road. Keep an eye out for appearances from Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park (look for a Datsik remix to come soon) and tour mates Danny from Barenoize, Ben from Delta Heavy and AFK. The footage was captured in Denver, Burlington, VT, Albany, NY, Wallingford, CT and Baltimore where Datsik catched up with local talents Barron and Rekoil.
