Gina Star is someone you should know about it, or you will pretty soon. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Gina moved to LA to pursue her career in 2006. Soon after she fond herself over the pond and getting major support on her tracks and airplay from the likes of Pete Tong, along with some Beatport smash hits in “This Is Hollywood” and “I Want It Now” (Toolroom) which samples Queen “I Want It Now,” a feat in itself having received clearance.
Things are only looking forward for Gina with tons of her music slated to release and a massive new podcast series, not to mention playing Los Angeles’ premier house venue, Avalon, alongside Oakenfold this weekend (more info below). Her new track “Midnight’ V Yazoo” was in the Miami Buzz chart and is getting early support and plays from Armin van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, Grum, Miss Nine, David Jones and Nicky Romero; take a listen below!
