Ape Drums, Floyd Lavine, Yulia Niko and Laolu join the four-hour moving club event on October 22.
Melodic Deep will celebrate its tenth anniversary during Amsterdam Dance Event with a four-hour club event aboard the 50 Club Train. Ten Years In Motion takes place Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m., at Amsterdam Centraal.
Ape Drums, Ede, Fairplay, Floyd Lavine, Glowal, Ivan Masa, Kenza Kayati, Laolu, Megatronic, Osfur, Yulia Niko, and Magnetic Magazine Recordings’ own Deviu make up the public lineup. The booking spans deep house, melodic house, Afro-electronic music, and experimental club music while staying true to the musical direction Melodic Deep has developed over its first decade.
What Makes The Melodic Deep Club Train Different
ADE contains hundreds of club nights within walking distance of central Amsterdam, yet this event removes the standard option of moving between venues. Once the Club Train begins its four-hour program, the artists and audience remain part of the same moving event until it returns.
That format places additional importance on programming. A conventional club can rely on one established room, while a train asks the promoter to consider how artists, listeners and smaller spaces function together during a fixed period. Melodic Deep is using that setup to present its current musical identity while recognizing ten years of events and releases.

The lineup also gives the anniversary a wider international context.
Floyd Lavine brings an approach shaped by South Africa, London and Berlin, while Laolu has developed his catalog around house music and African rhythmic traditions. Ape Drums, Glowal, Ede, Ivan Masa and Yulia Niko extend the program across several related areas of contemporary electronic music.
I recently spoke with Floyd Lavine about his Cocoon release, touring and the cultural influences behind his music. His comments about adapting to different audiences feel especially relevant for an event where the venue itself changes the normal relationship between DJ and crowd.
Club Trains Return During ADE 2026
Ten Years In Motion is part of a larger run of Club Train events taking place during ADE. The format will also be used for several additional parties across the week, including The Disco Express Club Train on October 24.
For Melodic Deep, however, the October 22 event has a specific anniversary purpose. The label and event brand is using the train to gather artists connected by deeper and melodic club music without turning its tenth birthday into a conventional retrospective.
