Liam Mour shares a powerful, vocal led garage-leaning anthem…
Returning with something truly unique in the audio and visual realm, Berlin-born, Porto-based producer Liam Mour and emerging artist Kind, feels entirely organic and a merging of creative minds. Two distinct artists, finding a point of genuine convergence and building something neither could have arrived at alone.
Mour’s credentials are quietly extraordinary. Former crew member for Nils Frahm, longtime Funkhaus Berlin resident, the producer has accumulated over 50 million streams across four EPs. A film and television composer nominated for Best Composer at the Deutscher Fernsehpreis. Someone who has opened for Four Tet and toured with Gold Panda. That breadth of experience is audible in how “Into You” is constructed — the track moves with the confidence of a producer who understands exactly how much space a vocal needs and how much architecture to build around it without obscuring it. It’s reminiscent of the analogue synth worlds of Bicep or Overmono – with a retro-future twist, the vocal brings a serene calm to the track.
The production opens with a haunting deep synth intro before a raw two-step beat establishes its rhythm beneath pulsating Reese bass sounds — grounded, physical, and immediate – club-ready but carrying a melodic intelligence that pushes it beyond pure dancefloor utility.
Kind’s vocal arrival is the track’s pivot point. She brings a lush, serene quality to the upper register that sits above Mour’s production with striking ease. For a first official release as a recording artist, it’s a remarkably assured performance — an introduction that raises the question of what her debut solo material will sound like with considerable urgency.
