The ten-day anniversary season returns to Tulum from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with a three-event Multipass available now.

Zamna Tulum has announced its tenth-anniversary season without naming a single artist, which initially feels like a strange way to introduce one of its largest events to date.

Look a little closer, though, and that decision says plenty about what Zamna has become since its first gathering in the Mexican Caribbean in 2017. The brand is asking people to commit to Tulum before seeing the full lineup because the destination, production and history surrounding the event now carry their own appeal.

The anniversary celebration will run for ten days, beginning on New Year’s Eve and continuing until January 10, 2027. A new commemorative video looks back at Zamna’s first decade, while the second ticket tier for its three-event Multipass is already available. Individual events, artists and further programming will be announced later.

This first reveal is therefore less about who will play and more about whether Zamna itself has become enough of a reason to plan the trip.

Zamna Tulum 2027 Dates and Anniversary Plans

The Zamna Tulum anniversary season runs from Thursday, December 31, 2026 to Sunday, January 10, 2027.

Although the celebration begins in 2026, the majority of the dates fall in January, making this the opening run of Zamna’s 2027 Tulum season. The ten-day window is expected to contain several individually ticketed events, with the final calendar still to come.

Zamna’s anniversary video serves as the opening announcement, revisiting the artists and destinations that helped move the event beyond its original Tulum setting. It also gives prospective attendees an early look at the large-scale stage design, lighting and visual production associated with the festival.

The lack of an artist lineup leaves a major piece unanswered, though anyone who has watched Zamna’s bookings over the past decade already has a fairly clear idea of the territory it occupies.

Black Coffee, Tale Of Us, Keinemusik, RÜFÜS DU SOL, David Guetta, John Summit, Peggy Gou and Solomun have all appeared at Zamna Tulum. Previous editions have also hosted Adriatique, Tiësto, Maceo Plex, Nina Kraviz, Vintage Culture, Seth Troxler, Honey Dijon and Anyma.

Those names have made Zamna a recurring January destination for house and techno fans, particularly people planning winter trips around several parties rather than a single festival date.

Why Zamna Can Announce Dates First

Festival announcements usually depend on a lineup poster to create their first wave of attention. Zamna is beginning with its location and anniversary instead, which is a fairly direct display of confidence in the brand it has built.

Zamna says its Tulum events attract hundreds of thousands of attendees from over 100 countries each year. The wider company reports over 500,000 registered users and 1.6 million social followers, giving it an audience that extends far beyond people currently planning a trip to Mexico.

Its international expansion also means the Zamna name is no longer tied exclusively to January in Tulum. Editions have taken place in Barcelona, Madrid, Ibiza, Miami, New York, São Paulo, Dubai and Malta, with beach events extending into Mykonos, Porto Cervo, the French Riviera and other coastal destinations.

In my wider event coverage, festivals often treat international expansion as proof that the original concept can travel. Zamna’s anniversary asks a slightly different question: after taking the brand abroad, can returning to Tulum still feel like its biggest statement?

The ten-day celebration is its answer. Tulum remains the location where Zamna can present multiple events, bring its community together for an extended stay and build an entire travel period around the festival calendar.

How the Zamna Tulum Multipass Works

The Zamna Tulum Multipass allows attendees to select three eligible event days during the anniversary celebration.

That flexibility is important because Zamna Tulum operates as a series of individual parties rather than one continuous festival ticket. Once the participating events and daily lineups are announced, Multipass holders will be able to choose the three dates they want to attend.

The second ticket tier is now available, though the artist lineup and complete anniversary calendar remain unannounced. Anyone buying early is therefore committing to the wider Zamna Tulum season before knowing exactly which artists will appear on each date.

That will suit attendees who already plan their winter travel around Zamna and expect to attend several events. People traveling for a specific artist may prefer to wait until the individual programs are released, especially since the announcement does not yet establish which parties will be included in the Multipass.

Complete ticket and redemption information is available from the official Zamna website.

What We Know About Zamna Tulum 2027

  • Dates: December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027
  • Location: Tulum, Mexico
  • Occasion: Zamna’s tenth anniversary
  • Multipass: Entry to three eligible event days
  • Lineup: To be announced
  • Individual events: To be announced
  • Tickets: Second Multipass tier available now

Zamna still needs to reveal the artists, day-by-day calendar and individual ticket options that will determine how most people experience the anniversary. Those announcements will establish the musical identity of the ten-day run.

For now, the decision to sell the season before the lineup reveals something else. Zamna Tulum is entering its tenth year as an event that believes its name, location and production history can carry the first announcement on their own.
