BARELY ALIVE are turning their recent label expansion into a live platform with the newly announced “RECONNECT” Tour, a 15-plus-date North American run stretching from October through December.
The routing begins October 10 in Vancouver before moving through cities including Calgary, Las Vegas, Detroit, Toronto, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Orlando, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, Boston, and Minneapolis. Additional dates are still expected to be announced.
Killed It! Moves From Compilation to Touring Platform
What makes “RECONNECT” especially significant is the role Killed It! Records will play throughout the run.
Alongside appearances from Dion Timmer and Smoakland, the tour will feature a rotating group of artists from the Killed It! community, extending the label’s mission beyond releases and into the live circuit. For BARELY ALIVE, that means using their own audience and touring reach to introduce emerging and underground producers to larger crowds while continuing to build a broader ecosystem around brostep.
That direction follows the release of ‘Killed It! Vol. 1,’ the label’s first multi-artist compilation. The 18-track project brought together producers from different levels of the scene and positioned Killed It! as a dedicated home for the genre’s current generation.
The tour also arrives after a strong summer for BARELY ALIVE themselves. Their seven-track ‘100% NO AI’ EP leaned heavily into the sound that helped define their rise while updating it through modern production and a wide cast of collaborators. Major festival appearances at Excision’s Mile High event and Bass Canyon have since given the duo a large-scale setting to showcase that material, with Lost Lands still ahead in September.
“RECONNECT” continues that progression in a more community-driven format, blending BARELY ALIVE’s own revitalized catalog with the artists helping shape Killed It!’s identity.
Artist pre-sale opens this Thursday, August 27 at 10:00 AM local time using code “RECONNECT26,” with general tickets available Friday, August 28 at 10:00 AM local time. Fans can sign up here for tour updates and early access information.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
