Beats Give Back is returning with its most ambitious event yet, bringing Prospa to Tampa on June 12 (click here for tickets) for a large-scale fundraiser supporting foster care youth across Florida. Hosted inside the House Hats Hangar, the event will transform a private aviation space into a full nighttime music experience while raising money for music education initiatives and creative resources.

This event marks Prospa’s first performance in Tampa and arrives during a period of growing international attention around the UK duo. Their blend of house music, breaks, and club-focused energy makes them a fitting centerpiece for an event built around both community and high-impact dance music culture.

Music, Community, and Long-Term Impact

What separates Beats Give Back from many charity-driven music events is the organization’s emphasis on measurable outcomes. In 2025, the nonprofit raised over $10,000 to help create a dedicated music room at Joshua House in partnership with Sheltair Aviation and Friends of Joshua House Foundation. The completed space included instruments, production tools, and technology designed to give foster youth a hands-on connection to music and creativity.

Behind the scenes, the organization has continued to grow through a collaborative leadership structure spanning multiple industries. The board includes Manny Lopez, Stephen Scherer, and Jensen Diaz from House Hats, Kai Seymour from Sheltair, Aaron Malarick from Citi National Bank, Clinton Cheetah from Restless Media, alongside Jolene Swift, Natalie Maida, Grace Moorefield, and Grace Seymour. Their combined efforts have helped transform Beats Give Back from a local initiative into one of Tampa’s most community-focused music nonprofits.

That momentum now carries into the Prospa fundraiser, with proceeds helping fund future music lessons, equipment access, software programs, and additional creative spaces for foster youth throughout Florida.

The venue choice also reinforces the scale of the vision. Rather than operating within a traditional nightclub format, Beats Give Back continues to build immersive events in unconventional spaces, pairing electronic music with environments that feel larger than a standard concert experience. The hangar setting is expected to amplify that atmosphere, especially as Prospa previews material from their upcoming album.

Alongside Prospa’s headlining set, the night will feature support from House Hats artists Murphy’s Law, Goosey b2b Edd, and Sueno, further highlighting the collective’s growing role within Tampa’s underground electronic scene.

At its core, the event reflects a growing movement within dance music culture toward purpose-driven experiences. Beats Give Back has positioned itself at the intersection of nightlife, philanthropy, and creative access, using events not only to entertain crowds but to fund lasting community resources.

Every ticket purchased includes a $10 donation toward the Beats Give Back fundraiser, supporting foster care youth through the organization’s ongoing work with Joshua House. Additional information surrounding the nonprofit’s mission and community programs can be found at beatsgiveback.org.

With attendance expected from both the local dance scene and broader Tampa community, the June 12 fundraiser represents another major step forward for the organization’s expanding mission.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
