WonkyWilla returns with ‘Wonksgiving Vol. II,’ a three-track EP arriving Thanksgiving Eve and dropping in tandem with his annual Wonksgiving charity event. The project showcases the imaginative sound design, playful unpredictability, and emotional storytelling that have propelled him into bass music’s spotlight throughout 2025.
The EP opens with “The System” featuring Homemade Spaceship and Def3, a gritty fusion of hip-hop flow, funk-inspired dubstep, and sharpened low-end weight. It’s an assertive, high-impact kickoff that reflects WonkyWilla’s skill for pairing heavy production with memorable personality.
“Woozy,” a collaboration with Sloth, dives into deeper experimental territory, twisting wubs and warped textures into a track that melts and mutates with every measure. “Algorithmic” with Blvcksmith closes the record with an all-out surge of distortion, frantic vocals, and tightly controlled chaos.
Speaking on the EP’s spirit, WonkyWilla explains that Wonksgiving has always been about reconnecting, celebrating, and giving back. He describes the project as a reflection of that atmosphere, a soundtrack built for reunions, packed dancefloors, and the shared joy that music sparks when a community comes together.
This year’s Wonksgiving show in Texas carries that mission forward, partnering with Texas CASA to donate proceeds to children in need. The event will also host a food and clothing drive, with exclusive merch and festival pass giveaways for fans who contribute. It’s a celebration rooted in generosity, one that mirrors the values shaping WonkyWilla’s rise.

The EP arrives in the midst of his Galactic Circus Tour, a 30+ date headline run hitting major venues like Webster Hall, The Showbox, and Crystal Ballroom. After a massive mainstage moment at Hulaween and viral appearances throughout the year, WonkyWilla’s momentum continues to accelerate.

As ‘Wonksgiving Vol. II’ closes out the year, WonkyWilla stands out as one of bass music’s most imaginative storytellers, an artist blending booming sound design with community-centered intention, proving once again that his world is only getting bigger.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
