Factory 93 has released the eighth edition of its MODULE series, a VA platform that continues to highlight cutting-edge house and techno from around the globe. Out today, MODULE 8 features music from Late Replies, Cristina Lazic, Slugg, and Somersault, each bringing their own style to a collection that ranges from stripped-back grooves to high-energy club tracks.
The series has become a consistent space for Factory 93 to curate both emerging talent and established names, with each edition exploring a specific corner of the dance music spectrum. This time, the focus leans heavily into minimal-influenced house, with production styles that carry the flexibility to work across intimate dancefloors and peak-time festival slots.

Four Artists, Four Distinct Cuts

Opening the release, UK duo Late Replies deliver ‘The Marathon,’ a tightly produced modern house cut that balances swirling melodic lines with a weighty, rolling bassline. The track builds momentum without losing its hypnotic pull, setting the tone for the EP.
Cristina Lazic’s ‘Addicted’ follows with groove-led minimalism layered over growling, spacey synth textures. Floating female vocals add a hook that keeps the track anchored, while the arrangement leaves room for DJs to work it into a variety of set styles.
Slugg’s ‘Boom’ moves into tougher territory, built on a stomping percussive framework and designed for peak-time moments. Its direct energy contrasts with the opener’s fluidity, delivering a more confrontational, floor-focused feel.
Closing out the release, Somersault’s ‘Killinme’ fuses rumbling low-end elements of speed garage with a bumping, high-tempo house groove. The result is a sleek, bass-heavy workout that ties the EP together with a forward-facing edge.

A Platform for Global House Talent
The MODULE series has become one of Factory 93’s signature projects, with each release pulling in artists from multiple regions to create a snapshot of where the label’s sound is at the moment. MODULE 8’s roster spans the UK, Italy, the US, and Australia, reflecting the global nature of today’s house and techno scenes.
By pairing names already making waves in their respective markets with producers breaking into wider recognition, Factory 93 continues to position MODULE as both a testing ground for new talent and a showcase for established artistry. MODULE 8 delivers on that promise, offering four tracks that work individually in DJ sets while also feeling cohesive as a package.
‘MODULE 8’ is out now on Factory 93 across all major digital platforms.
