For two decades, JUICE Drum and Bass has been the heartbeat of Portland’s jungle, liquid and soulful drum & bass scene. Founded by Chemynne Perlingieri, JUICE has grown from its humble beginnings into one of the longest-running drum and bass nights in the United States.

On March 22nd, JUICE will commemorate its 20th anniversary at Holocene, boasting a massive lineup featuring featuring iconic artists of the genre such as S.P.Y, Seba, BCee, and more. Regional talents like Khariszma from San Francisco and resident host MC Questionmark will also grace the stage.

Chemynne shares that “the style of drum and bass that we promote at JUICE DnB is focused on the more jazzy, soulful and deep side of the genre. We like to say it’s ‘feel-good’ dance music. For our incoming 20th Anniversary milestone, we’re honored to host some of the most important artists of the industry.”

Chemynne’s unwavering dedication has not only sustained JUICE but has also cemented Portland’s status as a hub for this style of drum and bass – previously hosting the likes of LTJ Bukem, Makoto, and Goldie. She also serves as an inspiration for her longevity in and ability to thrive and elevate in a traditionally male-dominated scene.
