Two powerhouse labels in electronic music, Monstercat and Hospital Records, have come together for a major milestone in the drum & bass world. Their first-ever joint compilation brings together a dynamic group of artists, fusing signature styles from both labels into a cohesive collection.
Created during an intensive four-day writing camp at TYX Studios in London, this release features eight tracks that highlight the genre’s versatility, ranging from melodic and atmospheric cuts to heavy-hitting club anthems.
The goal of this project was to merge the creative visions of both labels, producing fresh collaborations that blend each imprint’s distinct sonic identity. Monstercat and Hospital Records shared in a joint statement, “This compilation showcases the diversity and innovation within drum & bass, bringing together artists from both labels in a way that offers a fresh perspective on the genre. It represents the global reach of drum & bass while strengthening the bond between our two communities.”
Leading up to the full release, individual tracks were unveiled daily, building anticipation for the final drop. Among the highlights, “What Are We Proving” from hayve & DRIIA blends driving basslines with emotive vocal elements, while “Find Peace” from DNMO & SOLAH delivers a melodic energy.
Anaïs & hayve’s “IDGAF” captures an underground intensity, and “Starchild” from Bensley, BOP, and Degs offers a cosmic twist on the genre.
Other additions like “99 Octane” from P Money, Whiney, and hayve, and “Renegade” from Protostar, Subten, and PVC bring high-energy elements to the mix.
Monstercat has been a leader in the independent electronic music scene since 2011, known for its influence in gaming, digital content, and festival stages. The label has collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music and partnered with global gaming brands such as Fortnite and Rocket League.
Hospital Records, a staple in drum & bass since 1996, has continuously pushed the genre forward with its celebrated Hospitality events and a roster that includes top-tier artists like Metrik and P Money x Whiney.
This groundbreaking compilation not only celebrates the rich history of drum & bass but also paves the way for future collaborations between Monstercat and Hospital Records. By bringing together diverse artists and innovative sounds, the project reinforces the genre’s growing impact on the global stage.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
