Welcome back to the sixth iteration of this monthly chart, where we highlight and break down the top 15 bass music anthems. June’s selection encompasses a ton of Lost Lands 2024 headliners, including Subtronics, SIPPY, Sullivan King, YOOKiE, and Zingara, to name a few.
However, we also have brain-melting representation from fast-rising underground artists such as Seth David, adjoin, and Slang Dogs, reflecting experimental bass, wubs, dubstep, trap, riddim, and everything in between. Enter the realm of sonic experimentation as we shed light on various bass-powered anthems and their creators.
Follow our Spotify playlist below to keep tabs on all the tracks we have featured (currently at 90 bangers) in our bass music chart this year:
Seth David – The Ends [Good Society]
In the conversation for best bass music compilation of the year, label Good Society shocked dance music with their Volume 4 edition. Featuring the grimiest of bass and rapidly ascending talent, this project includes singles from sumthin sumthin, OkayJake, Maddy O’Neal, ero808, rSUN, and more.
It would be a disservice for me not to recommend listening the whole compilation, but if you only have time for a few, then Seth David’s “The Ends” needs to make the cut. I recently discovered David and, while his name may not fully allude to it, he has the trippiest and most electrifying styles of bass production. “The Ends” is a lethal fusion of rap and his unique sound design.
adjoin – Forget [3510357 Records DK]
Definitely the most chill song on this month’s chart, adjoin’s “Forget” represents a lost art, and by lost I am heavily under-appreciated. The SoundCloud future bass era was an amazing time to be on the hunt for sensational music.
“Forget” is like a time capsule from this era, yet simultaneously weaves in new-age production. Whether you deeply miss or still bump to the Louis The Child remixes of “Compass” and “Body Gold,” this gem from adjoin is primed for your ears.
Zingara – Unlock Your Keys [Indepent Release]
If Zingara’s debut album, The Code Of Dreamz, was on rotten tomatoes, it would have easily landed a certified fresh badge. This mystic experimental bass queen takes listeners on an enchanting sonic journey across the 12-track project. In addition to the closing song “Welcome Home,” with Elephant Heart, and “Up is Down,” “Unlock Your Keys” stood out the most to me.
This track feels like you have just teleported to an exotic bass-powered jungle, overflowing with wubz and vibrant colors. The combination of its instrumental and seductive vocals are guaranteed to put you in a trance.
CloZee, LSDREAM – CHRYSALIS [Odyzey Music & Heartwave]
If you are not ready to leave the bass jungle yet you are in luck, LSZEE, a joint project between the two legends, CloZee and LSDREAM, unveiled their first release in the beginning of June. Giving fans more than what they asked for, this was a double-single drop, featuring “FRENCH DREAM” and “CHRYSALIS.”
Both tracks are incredible and it was difficult to put one before the other, but subjectively, I was more drawn to “CHRYSALIS.” Look up wub in a sonic dictionary and this would be the example it gives. Mixing tribal elements with low-end bass is a recipe for success, especially when LSZEE is cheffing up.
Subtronics, Grech – Sploinky Dub [Cyclops Recordings]
It is a rare occurrence whenever Subtronics doesn’t find a way to land in our monthly bass chart. The king is back with a real head-splitter, teaming up with Grech on “Sploinky Dub.”
This banger unleashes a hefty supply of chops and psychedelic effects that will have you grabbing onto the rails as if your depends on not letting go. Get ready to dive into the nearest mosh pit the next time you get a chance to hear this one live.
Slang Dogs – Murk [Good Society]
Led by Dario Pedracci and David Rangel, Slang Dogs made their first appearance on our bass chart in April with “Seething Eyes.” Now this up-and-coming duo is back with “Murk,” another one of Good Society Volume 4‘s infectious tracks.
This tune is dark and twisted in all the right ways, hitting listeners with a nonstop wave of trap and distorted bass. The breakdowns keep audiences on their toes as Slang Dogs suddenly comes in with a progression of low-end ground-shaking production.
ALLEYCVT – IN THE ALLEY [PLANET SUPERSONIC]
April was clearly a hype month, as ALLEYCVT entered the fold too, showcasing her talents with “MISS U AGAIN.” Arriving on her own label PLANET SUPERSONIC, she now forges a thrilling adventure with “IN THE ALLEY.”
Slotted for a big Lost Lands performance, ALLEYVCVT will be traveling across North America in the fall, bringing her project to premier venues like New York’s Webster Hall and Seattle’s The Showbox. Keep an eye out for this rising superstar.
SIPPY – Sip On This [Monstercat]
After “Banana Song” and her “Tearjerker” remix made quite a splash in the bass community, SIPPY is now continuing her hot streak with “Sip On This.”
Returning to Monstercat for the tune, the component that really makes this track pop is the guitar chords layered perfectly throughout. Coupled with bass, laser noises, and aggressive lyrics, it is challenging not to chug “Sip On This” and leave it on repeat.
YOOKiE – DOWN WiTH THE SiCKNESS [Deadbeats]
At the crossroads of rock and underground bass music lies YOOKiE. This beloved pair of brothers, Christopher and Anthony Alfaro, are known for making crowds lose their minds with high-energy dubstep flips of classic rock anthems, such as “Iron Man” and “SUNSHiNE OF YOU WUB.”
Successfully turning a legendary rock hit on its head once more, YOOKiE throws a barrage of bass down with “DOWN WiTH THE SiCKNESS.” Taking popular sounds for American heavy metal band Disturbed, YOOKiE transforms the 1999 single into a go-to song for bass festival mainstages around the world.
Saka – Shenlong [Memory Palace]
Turning up the heat for his forthcoming EP on Of The Trees’ label Memory Palace, Saka’s “Shenlong” is a blend of Chinese culture and jaw-dropping bass music. The title of the song translates to “Divine Dragon,” and is inspired by the chaos of China’s combat fields.
Hailing from Hong Kong, Saka also just released “Phantasm” this past Friday, taking his fans on a riveting voyage across sound.
Opiuo, Ashez – Bobby Dazzler [Slurp Music]
Opiuo and Ashez have proven they are a match made in bass music heaven, finally revealing their four-track saga Underground in June. The title track of the EP was featured in last month’s bass music chart.
“Bobby Dazzler” is a terrific fusion of bass music with futuristic effects. It feels like you have entered a cyberpunk world, which is cool to see from a song that is as bass-leaning as “Bobby Dazzler” is. The breakdown introduces new frequencies and leads to a second drop that spices things up.
Steller – Am I Dreaming [Cyclops Recordings]
In just a few months, Stellar has become one of my top five bass music producers. She is one of the bright stars carrying the torch of the modern wub, and is doing her job extremely well. Am I Dreaming” kicks off with an introspective quote layered with funky sound design rewinding the clock with nostalgic samples.
The main vocal commands to “put your sould into it” right before a filthy bass drop left erupts, that left me speechless the first time listening. This is absolutely a song to make your bass face to; I am fired up to hear more bangers like this and “Mind Shaker” (featured in March’s bass music chart) from Steller in the near future.
it’s murph, Sorana – Down Low (YDG Remix) [Darkroom Records]
I typically do not pick favorites, but YDG’s remix of it’s murph and Sorana’s “Down Low” has taken the crown as my number one bass track for June. “Down Low,” already being a super groovy house anthem, is flipped into a wub-packed heater that will make any crowd head bob collectively.
YDG has been on a tear this year, holding it down for the new wave of wubs music alongside artists like Tape B. If you are digging this remix, then beeline it to SoundCloud to queue up his remixes of “I Like The Way You Kiss Me” and Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?”
Sullivan King – The Beginning [Monstercat]
Sullivan King embarks on a new musical journey with “The Beginning,” a dynamic anthem interlinking rock, heavy metal, and drum & bass influences. Opening with soft melodies and enthralling lyrics, King’s distinctive scream-singing leads into thunderous drumming and electric guitar riffs.
A standout drum solo precedes an emphatic drum & bass drop, showcasing his prowess in creating a unique sub-genre. This track sets the stage for King’s upcoming project, promising a clash of genres that captivates listeners with its intense energy and crossover appeal across rock, electronic, and bass music landscapes.
ISOxo, Knock2, RL Grime, ISOKNOCK – SMACK TALK [88rising Records]
Wrapping up our list with headbang-inducing trap music, ISOKNOCK is loose and causing mayhem with their debut anthem “SMACK TALK.” Joining forces with veteran RL Grime on the colossal tune, ISOxo and Knock2 signal that their domination on the trap scene is just starting.
My favorite part about this song is how the three producers build a boatload of anticipation and energy before the drop. Between the opera choir ringing out to open the track and the heavy drums, “SMACK TALK” will have you jumping up and down long before its peak and long after.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
