Following the success of his debut release on David Hohme’s Where The Heart Is Records last year, David Hasert returns to the label. He brings his dear friend Shlomi for a collaborative track that drips with that classic LoFi sentimentality.
While the breakbeat and nostalgia-dripped release may be a slight break for Shlomi’s hit sound, which usually sees that dusty house sound mixed with club-friend grooves and percussions, Hasert has a long reputation for creating massively popular collaborative tracks in this style to blend into his otherwise tight, 4×4-style club music in his DJ sets and live performances.

Leaning heavily on a haunting vocal line and dense piano melodies, the track maintains its interest and moment through the interplay of the two as they dance between each other throughout the track’s short-and-sweet arrangement.
It’s a recipe for success, or at least a ticket to replayability, as in just four minutes, the track takes you on an emotional journey from journey to end and leaves you hungry for more of the few choice and impactful elements these two masters of their crafts included in this track.
Who Is David Hasert?

David Hasert, a prominent German DJ and the mastermind behind LIKE Records, has established a unique presence in Cologne’s dynamic electronic music scene. As the creative force behind Reineke Fuchs, I nurture exceptional talent and contribute to the club’s distinct reputation. My discography, enriched by releases on my label LIKE and notable collaborations on Beats In Space, Dantze, and Kompakt Records through my DAMH project with ADA, reflects my broad international appeal.
This appeal is underscored by my extensive touring commitments, which see me performing at diverse venues worldwide almost every weekend. A significant milestone in my career was reached with my debut tour in the USA, culminating in a memorable performance at the legendary Burning Man Festival in Nevada in 2015.
