The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest club-based festival and conference for electronic music, has unveiled exciting additions to the ADE Pro Conference program, which is set to include new audiovisual and musical performances. Among these additions, attendees will participate in a deep immersion masterclass and audiovisual show by the London-based producer Max Cooper. The conference will also host an exclusive edition of the Secret Artists in Residence concept for a collaborative jam session at the ADE Pro home base, Felix Meritis.
The recent announcement of Max Cooper joining the ADE Pro Conference follows the inclusion of renowned artist Claptone. In an extensive masterclass and audiovisual performance, Cooper will guide participants through an immersive exploration of music, science, and art, enriching the conference’s new immersive experience theme. In another high point, the ‘Secret Artists in Residence,’ after its successful premiere at the Best Kept Secret Festival last year and a follow-up edition at the ADE Festival 2022, is ready to enchant ADE Pro visitors this year. This innovative concept will see a temporary music studio built at Felix Meritis, hosting unique artistic collaborations and live jam sessions featuring artists like Steve Rachmad, Alberta Balsam, Mathew Jonson, Sarah Neutkens, and more.
This year’s conference will also explore key strategic challenges and opportunities defining the global electronic music industry. Topics will range from organizing large-scale events in an increasingly uncertain market, mastering the recent explosion of machine learning in the music industry, to capitalizing on the potential of video streaming platforms for music utilization in movies and series. Promoting inclusivity in electronic music will be another important focus, with events collective HE.SHE.THEY. and William Morris Endeavor Agency (WME) sharing strategies for fostering diversity and equality within the industry.
