Jack Wolfskin Pre-Light Pants ($99.95)
Are you on the hunt for the ideal travel and hiking pants? The Jack Wolfskin Pre-Light Pant checks all the boxes with its lightweight, stretchy fabric that will keep you protected when the weather stops cooperating. Whether you are out in the wild or just at a music festival clocking a lot of miles (hello, Coachella), extreme comfort is everything, and it’s safe to say this pant moves with you effortlessly. Another key feature is the moisture-wicking fabric, which helps keep you less swampy and more aired out when you are exerting yourself. The last thing you want to deal with is feeling slimy when you reach the Tame Impala stage.

Jack Wolfskin – Pre-Light 2.5L Jacket (199.95)
Well, if you like the pants, you will love the matching Pre-Light 2.5L Jacket by Jack Wolfskin. This packable, waterproof, and windproof jacket is perfect for late spring and funky summer conditions at higher elevations, where the weather can be tricky and turn on a dime. The Pre-Light 2.5L is both cool enough to hit the festivals and technical enough to deal with the trail and weekend camping. Like the pants, the top is made with Texapore Pro fabric, letting you push the limit physically and remain highly breathable (up to 15,000 g/m²/24hrs) so you don’t swamp it up. This might be your go-to jacket for the entire spring/summer season, oh and it’s stretchy and incredibly comfortable when you are moving around a lot, like running to the beer garden between sets.

adidas SP0060 Injected Aviator Sunglasses ($156)

When the sun is out, grab the adidas SP0060 Injected Aviator sunglasses and head out for your outdoor activities. If it’s not, and you think you can pull off the “sunglasses at night” look, then you do you cricket.

It’s great for anything and everything from intense treks on the Pacific Crest Trail to casual walks down to the neighborhood pub in the unpredictable Springtime weather (at least in the Pacific Northwest’s typically unpredictable Springtime).
Terra Thread Cotton Pullover Hoodies – $95.95

Perfect for everyday wear, these hoodies are crafted from traceable ROC™ cotton; we’ve been fans of the Terra Thread brand for months. Not only are they environmentally conscious, but they also make amazing threads (pun only slightly intended).
What we dig most about these sweatshirts is that they seem to run just a touch longer than most conventional pullovers, meaning that if you’re taller or just like a longer fit in your clothing, they fit the bill to a T. Embrace eco-friendly and ethically-made apparel this season with Terra Thread’s versatile Pullover and Zipper Hoodies, ideal for both style and comfort during your outdoor adventures.

We are big proponents of trail runners and hiking sneaker hybrids, and Deckers Lab continues to innovate in this category. This sneaker boasts a multi-layered upper composed of plant-based Sorona® yarn fused with GORE-TEX fabric for durability. The mid-foot panel, made with Matryx®, is securely fastened to the laces to support lateral movements while keeping your feet cool, which many hiking sneakers/boots simply don’t. The shoe’s HX-Impulse foam, which is both lightweight and high-rebound, is positioned in DL’s signature X-SCAPE X-Ponent HD midsole with Meta-Rocker geometry and a flared swallowtail rear to ensure a smooth and exhilarating ride. Anyone you meet out and about while wearing these shoes will likely mention that they look like cool-person Crocs, and we will admit that they aren’t that far off. These sleek and stylish slip-on shoes look and feel like they’ve taken all the best parts from the iconically silly brand and made them adapt to a modern aesthetic in all the best ways.
They are made from eco-friendly material, an easy sell and something more of us could be mindful of as that time of year fast approaches and we spend more time outdoors. But that’s not all; these shoes are also designed with an ergonomic, dual-density footbed that offers excellent arch support and cushioning, ensuring comfort and relief for tired feet. Plus, by nature of the material, they are perfect shoes to get wet and dry off quickly, meaning you can bring them along for any fine-weather activity.

Etnies isn’t the skater-boy brand that they used to be. With a recent move to making more weather-focused active wear, Etnies’ new-and-improved styles offer something for everyone. Our favorite line is their scout sneakers, lightweight and breathable athletic shoes that are great for light workouts and casual walks.
Their sleek, low-profile design incorporates a unique blend of materials that offer maximum breathability and comfort, while the foam outsole provides excellent traction on any surface. Plus, the elastic heel support ensures a snug fit, making these sneakers the perfect pair of sneaks for all your outdoor adventures this spring.

Yup, even belts need to evolve, and Arcade is company leading the way. The new push for more elastic, cloth-made belts has been a breath of fresh air throughout the outdoor community and those who travel a lot (no need to remove them to avoid metal detectors).
The Carto belt features a unique woven design that perfectly blends elasticity and durability, ensuring a comfortable fit that moves with you during any activity, and seeing as it comes in a handful of styles and looks, there is sure to be something that matches your sure-to-be earth-tone palette that most hikers and outdoor lovers are rocking these days. Do yourself a favor and get every color; you will never wear another belt again.
Camping Gear To Elevate Your Next Excursion
So we got you sorted on the apparel; now we need to set you up for success with some gear. We have gathered various gear that will prove handy for any outdoor adventure, from the more intense backpacking trips to the more easygoing festival camping adventures.
MSR Hubba Hubba 2 Backpacking Tent $549
If you are looking for a tent that can pack down small, is exceptionally light, and can be used in various conditions, from weekend hiking trips to music festivals, the MSR Hubba Hubba 2 [HH2] checks all the boxes. Remember, this is a backpacking tent, not a car camping tent, so it’s small, and some people might even prefer it solo.
Why is it so expensive? You are paying for the portability and minimal weight, so if this is not something you need, plenty of other affordable tents might be a better fit. If you are a more serious camper that wants one great tent for all your adventures, keep reading.
The HH 2 has a freestanding design making it easy to set up and take down. It also comes with a rainfly to protect you from the elements. The tent has two doors and two vestibules, providing just enough space for two individuals and their gear, again depending on the size of your tentmate and your comfort zones.
If you are looking for a tent that will cater to the three-season hiker in you, music festivals, weekend quick camps, and the ability to be hardcore or as soft as a dad bod, this is it.
The Inside: This tent has plenty of space and a rectangular floor to fit all your gear. It has zippers that are easy to use and pockets for headphones and charging cords.
The Outside: The HH2 tent is easily set up with a symmetrical design. It has strong poles, a waterproof exterior, and taped seams to keep you comfortable and dry. The vestibules have StayDry™ rain gutters to prevent water from getting inside, and kickstand vents improve air circulation.

Being outdoors in the mountains and highlands is all fun and games until the sun goes down. The beating sun and sweltering heat are replaced with high-desert winds and a necessity to bundle up. While Hüga is a brand best known for its winter-time traveling gear, befit with different heating methods and staying warm, its real X-Factor is that it double as a high-mountain necessity for hiking and camping.
Made with durable, water-resistant fabric and a built-in rechargeable battery, this cushion is perfect for camping trips, sporting events, or simply relaxing in your backyard. With its convenience and warmth, this heated cushion is an ideal addition to your outdoor gear arsenal for the upcoming season.
Gozney Yellow RoccBox Portable Pizza Oven – $499

The Gozney portable pizza oven may be hard to justify for those backpacking deep into the outback. Still, for those looking to supercharge their backyard hangs or have the most legit glamping set up at the festival, this portable pizza oven is an easy recommendation.
It’s compact, functions off a small amount of gas that gets hot enough to replicate the temperature and cooking environment of a real wood-stove pizza oven and allows you to create better pies than you’d like to get at the local dive, food truck, or whatever else might be the alternative to cooking at the campsite.
Made with a sleek, stainless steel body, this pizza oven looks slick and packs up nicely, meaning that it won’t take up too much space in your setup until it’s time to start cooking. The most fun is that the oven’s innovative, dual-fuel functionality allows for both gas and wood-fired cooking, providing versatility and convenience.
COT ONE CONVERTIBLE INSULATED – $499.95

Most outdoor lovers will see Helinox as the designer brand in outdoor equipment and for a good reason. Their latest moves towards creative partnerships with brands like Obey and others have created some cool products, but their bread-and-butter camping gear is still where it’s at.
Sleeping on their insulated cot is about as similar to sleeping on a padded bed while camping in the woods or at a festival. And while it may not have the most compact profile when collapsed down and put away in its bag, the comfort and durability make it ideal for those staying overnight at campsites and other recreational-level outdoor enthusiasts.
iROCKER Ultra All Around – $799.99

Some say paddleboards are making a comeback; others say they never left. But with SUPs popularity becoming increasingly more and more of a thing during the Spring and Summer seasons, anyone who’s looking to upgrade from the entry-level cheapies of Amazon best look at iRocker’s Ultra All Around SUP.
Its bright exterior belies the fact that it’s made from high-grade military-level materials, but its durability is more than evident once you handle this thing. It’s 11 feet of inflatable paddleboard that can hold up over multiple seasons and won’t fall apart and puncture like so many other inflatable SUPs like to do these days. Plus, it’s just as user-friendly as any other SUP on the market, meaning whether you’re an avid hobbyist or are stoked to dive headfirst into the activity, there’s no better investment for you than this one.
Helinox Tactical Table $175.95

Much like the aforementioned cot, the Tactical Table checks a lot of boxes that an outdoor lover would have. But unlike the cot above, this table collapses into a low profile, meaning it’s an excellent option for long-distance hikers and those not planning on coming home ANYTIME soon.
Constructed with a lightweight yet durable aluminum alloy frame, this tactical table is easy to set up and pack away, making it perfect for on-the-go adventurers. The table’s surface features multiple compartments and pockets, providing ample storage and organization for your essential items.
As anyone would expect from a brand like Helinox, they busted out all of the stops and though of every last detail with this Tactical Table, and it’s an easy inclusion on this list.

It’s a great portable chair to bring to casual campfire hangs and deep-wood treks alike, making it a sizable but worthy investment for what you get and what you can do.

This funky little setup is perfect for, well, a lot of different things. We used it to just put our stuff on when chilling by the campfire or preparing dinner, but the coolest thing is using it to tote along our mobile sound system, the Victrola Revolution Go, and a few slabs of vinyl for the campsite get-down. At its core, the Helinox Tactical Field Office is a portable office system for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals. Say you were checking people in for a trail run or something like that; this is your jam. Not our jam, but it might be yours.
The TFO is built with an aluminum frame and a customizable fabric cover. It is designed to be lightweight and durable, except when you put a record player and records in it. It feels like a little suitcase, so you can port stuff with you for your “work” outdoors or do it right and put a turntable in it. Yeah, we are trying to beat that into you.
While there may be more affordable options, its adjustability and versatility make it a solid choice for those seeking a portable desk/table solution. We love this thing and use it all the time for multiple tasks around the campsite.

Ok, these are not technically apparel, but they go on (or in) your body, so that counts. Hearing protection is all the rage, and still, far too many people need to wear it during music festivals and concerts. Every time you go to a loud show, you suffer some hearing loss; it’s a very unpleasant fact. Earpeace has you covered with their Music Pro earplugs that let you still hear the show clearly and sometimes it even sounds better.
They also just released Earpeace Sleep, so if you are trying to visit the land of nod on an airplane or in a tent with your friend that snores like a Cesna, these are your ticket to paradise. They reduce just enough decibels to allow you to sleep but retain some volume for alarms or loud noises like breaking glass.

FILTER PROTECTION LEVEL:
Medium – 16dB (Magenta): Great for happy hour & acoustic shows
High – 20dB (Clear): Ideal for outdoor concerts & festivals
