LA-based plugin company Output has announced its latest plugin, Portal. It’s a granular synthesis effect that, unlike traditional granular synthesis, can be used on any sound source. It’s different from traditional granular synthesis in that it doesn’t require a micro sample to be used, yet results are very similar.
