Portola 2026 Lineup Centers Rare Festival Appearances

Robyn, DOG BLOOD, Swedish House Mafia, Zara Larsson, Tiësto, Four Tet, Tove Lo and Soulwax lead the fifth Portola Music Festival at San Francisco’s Pier 80.

Portola Music Festival returns to Pier 80 on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, and its fifth lineup appears built around bookings that will be difficult to see elsewhere this year. Goldenvoice has combined major dance and pop names with several reunions, limited festival appearances and special-format performances that give the weekend a specific reason to exist beyond its size.

Robyn leads the lineup following the release of Sexistential, with Portola listed as her sole festival appearance of 2026. Skrillex and Boys Noize will reunite as DOG BLOOD for their first performance under the name since 2019, which is also scheduled to be the project’s sole show this year. Swedish House Mafia add one of their two currently announced U.S. appearances, while Tiësto will play inside the Warehouse.

That scarcity is the clearest thread running across Portola 2026. The festival is using access, format and setting to distinguish its headliners rather than presenting the same versions of these artists that fans can find across the wider summer circuit.

DESPACIO Returns to Portola All Weekend

DESPACIO will return for the entire weekend, bringing the enclosed sound-system concept created by James Murphy, David Dewaele, Stephen Dewaele and engineer John Klett back to Pier 80. The setup places the sound system at the center of the room and gives the DJs extended room to select records outside the pacing of a standard festival slot.

Soulwax will also perform as part of the main lineup, connecting the Dewaele brothers’ live work with their role in DESPACIO. Elsewhere, Four Tet, Tove Lo, Zara Larsson, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Daphni, Ben UFO and Overmono extend a program that moves between pop, house, techno and left-field club music.

Portola has also booked a substantial group of newer acts, including KETTAMA, horsegiirL, Marlon Hoffstadt, Mochakk, Prospa, Chloé Caillet, Max Styler and Beltran b2b Ben Sterling. Melanie C will perform a DJ set, while Mike D introduces his Mike D 5D project in one of his few announced appearances this year.

Portola Keeps Its Bay Area Connection Visible

The Bay Area portion of the lineup includes DJ Shadow performing in the year marking the 30th anniversary of Endtroducing….., alongside underscores, erika b2b sfcowboy and the Program Audio collective. Their inclusion gives the 2026 edition a regional component inside a bill dominated by international bookings.

That local presence remains important as Portola enters its fifth year. Pier 80’s warehouses have become closely associated with the festival, and the booking direction now feels equally defined: major names with limited dates, established club artists and newer acts gaining wider attention without abandoning the festival’s San Francisco identity.
