Solid State Logic has introduced Acoustifier, a plug-in built to solve a problem every producer with a D.I. acoustic guitar track has faced. Thin tone that does not resemble a mic’d recording. Acoustifier models the sound of real mic setups and acoustic guitar body types, giving users a way to turn a direct input signal into something closer to a studio session with proper microphones. It is available now for $49 as an introductory offer, $99 regular price, or through SSL’s Complete Access Bundle.

Designed for Musicians, Producers and Live Performers
Acoustifier is built for sessions where microphone recording is not an option. That includes home studios, hotel rooms, stages, and any environment where bleed or room noise makes mic’d guitars unrealistic.
The plug-in models four acoustic body types, including two dreadnought variations, a jumbo or large body, and a concert or orchestra model. Users can then select from three classic microphone styles: dynamic, condenser, or ribbon. Stereo setups such as XY and spaced pair are built in, and body and neck mic signals can be blended to taste.
The goal is to take a raw D.I. track and rebuild it as if it were recorded with a stereo mic setup in a treated room.
Built-In EQ, Compression and Reverb

Acoustifier keeps core processing inside one interface. The EQ section includes a tilt filter for quick tone shifts, high-pass and low-pass filters, and three fully adjustable mid bands. A real-time frequency analyser shows every move as it happens.
Reverb is based on SSL FlexVerb algorithms. Room, plate, chamber and hall types are available, along with reverb ducking that lowers the reverb level when the guitar signal rises. Ducking can use the D.I. path, a pre-reverb tap or a sidechain signal.
The compressor section covers subtle dynamic control through to heavier tone shaping. Auto-gain keeps level consistent, and a mix knob makes parallel compression fast. The compressor can also be placed after the reverb for full control of the signal.
Acoustifier also includes an HQ mode for higher resolution processing and intelligent oversampling.
Pricing and Availability
Acoustifier is available now for $49 during the launch period. Standard pricing is $99. It is also included in the SSL Complete Access Bundle subscription for $19.99 per month. The bundle includes more than 150 plug-ins from SSL, Slate Digital and Harrison Audio, along with mastering tools, presets and sample content.
