AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ are set to return to DJX 2025, bringing their latest DJ hardware and software to one of the largest DJ trade shows in the United States. The event takes place August 11–14 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Etess Arena in Atlantic City, marking the 35th year of the annual gathering for DJs, producers, and music industry professionals.
This year’s booth (#109) will showcase products including the XDJ-AZ all-in-one DJ system, the DDJ-GRV6 four-channel controller, and the HDJ-F10 wireless DJ headphones with SonicLink technology. Alongside the gear, AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ will host performances, educational sessions, and exclusive community events designed to give DJs hands-on experience and direct access to industry leaders.
John Powell, President of AlphaTheta Music Americas, shared his excitement for this year’s event: “This is a fantastic opportunity to connect artists and enthusiasts with AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ gear that seamlessly blends form, function, and aesthetics. We always look forward to the creativity and inspiration that results from DJX and the talented attendees.”
Live Performances, Seminars, and Hands-On Training
DJX 2025 will feature a full schedule of performances and seminars curated by AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ. On August 12, FatFingaz (12:30 p.m. ET) and Boogie Blind (3:30 p.m. ET) will perform live on the DJX main stage. These sets provide attendees with the chance to see top-level DJs put the brand’s gear to work in a live environment.
In addition to performances, AlphaTheta will host several educational sessions. On August 11 at 5 p.m., “Tools for DJs with AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ” will offer a deep dive into the company’s product lineup, with three attendees winning brand-new gear. On August 12 at 4:30 p.m., DJ Creme will lead “The Art of Mixing Latin Music,” an interactive seminar focused on genre-specific mixing techniques, also with the chance to win AlphaTheta equipment.
For DJs looking for direct instruction, the NXT Summer Camp with DJ Hapa provides a hands-on training environment, while the Sunset Session on August 12 at The Balcony Deck will combine networking with music and hospitality. The event closes with “Sonic Evolution: 35 Years of DJX” and “Mell Starr & Friends,” featuring Skratch Bastid, Shortcut, Buck Rodgers, and Mell Starr.
