DJ DIESEL, the alter ego of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, has once again teamed up with Paris-based bass producer IVORY for a genre-bending single titled “Run It,” now out on Monstercat. Known for his boundary-pushing presence in the bass scene, DJ DIESEL continues to build authentic creative partnerships, and “Run It” is a reflection of that mission.
It is an aggressive, fast-paced track designed to dominate dance floors and festival stages. This collaboration marks the second time DJ DIESEL and IVORY have joined forces, following their widely recognized dubstep single “Moshpit.”
With “Run It,” the duo shifts gears into the realm of drum and bass, showcasing their versatility and mutual commitment to innovation. The track wastes no time, opening with glitch-heavy synths and commanding rap vocals from Shaq before erupting into a cascade of rapid-fire rhythms and razor-sharp sound design.
Speaking on the process behind the single, IVORY shared, “This song was born right after I played a DnB set in the Netherlands, and the energy from that night stuck with me. The moment I got home I started sketching ideas which led to sending the early version to Shaq. He loved it and a week later hit me back with vocals that just snapped. It is our second collab, my first drum & bass release this year, and my first drop on Monstercat in 2025. ‘Run It’ is pure chaos, high energy, and was a ton of fun to make!”
The release of “Run It” comes as both artists are riding strong momentum. DJ DIESEL recently made waves with his trap-dubstep single “Pay Respect” and led his Bass All-Stars showcase during Miami Music Week. More performances and takeovers are already scheduled for the months ahead, reinforcing his reputation as a central figure in live bass events.
IVORY, meanwhile, has been making his mark with his 2025 Riots EP and the success of last year’s Kompany collaboration, “Jackpot,” which continues to gain traction with over 1.2 million Spotify streams. With headline shows and new releases on the way, his presence within the global bass community is only accelerating.
“Run It” exemplifies how DJ DIESEL and IVORY are pushing sonic boundaries together. Their chemistry results in a track that blends intensity with precision and captures the raw energy of drum and bass through a unique creative lens.

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki. Feel free to reach out to me via my email or on IG, I love expanding my network of friends and business opportunities!
