In “Nocturne III,” Ashbrook introduces a cinematic mid-section filled with layered live recorded strings, adding a breathtaking depth to the piece. This section transports listeners into a world of evocative imagery and emotions. To complement the enchanting soundscape, an epic choreographed music video, reminiscent of the acclaimed series “Black Mirror,” accompanies the track. Speaking on the new single, Ashbrook claims “Nocturne III is modern concept piece inspired by contemporary dance and an evening travel piece, consisting of 8 intricate piano recordings, and a down tempo house best made from recording parts of the piano I intended to create a modern nocturne concept

Harmonically touching upon the likes of radio head and such film scores from shawshank redemption and such tension within the melody and chord structure I wanted to show the tensions of getting through the day and truely letting go at night

The dance video explores how we release energy at this time and connect with others, the blue hour and this particular time frame frames our natural beings and where our minds wonder at night”

Ashbrook’s artistic vision shines through in “Nocturne III,” as he masterfully blends classical and electronic elements to create a truly immersive musical experience. The track stands as a testament to his ability to bridge the gap between past and present, captivating audiences with his unique fusion of styles.
