Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn sits in Williamsburg, on S4 and Bedford, one block north of the Williamsburg Bridge. The new sound room is a very warm welcome to this part of the neighborhood, as most of Williamsburg’s events take place in the more northern part of the neighborhood.

But this is not your ordinary sound room. It’s brought to us by Bar Lab Hospitality, Space InvadersLink Miami Rebels, as well as Nicolas Matar and Scott Ciungan of Phonic Technologies, the award-winning sound team behind legendary New York clubs Cielo and Output. DJ/Producer and Brooklyn local, Will Buck, will be spearheading programming efforts for the cutting-edge sound room.

A vision inspired by the past built for partygoers of the present and future, Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn represents the first formal collaboration between Moxy Hotels, hospitality pioneers Bar Lab Hospitality, and Link Miami Rebels | Space Invaders – a Miami-based nightlife trio formed in 2016.

Space Invaders, which consists of III Points co-founder David Sinopoli and Miami nightlife veterans Davide Danese and Coloma Kaboomsky of Link Miami Rebels, own the world-renowned dance music haven Club Space, a revolutionary staple of Miami club culture.

Bar Lab Hospitality founders Elad Zvi and Gabe Orta have become synonymous with service and quality from their award-winning Broken Shaker and more. Now, both will bring their reputation for top-tier musical expansion and unconditional acceptance to Brooklyn.

“We are thrilled for this adventure.” Coloma of Link Miami Rebels | Space Invaders said, “We have always appreciated the love affair between Miami and New York. The opening of Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn gives us an intimate room with impeccable sound to foster and nourish the ever growing nightlife of Brooklyn.”

Guests enter Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn from a separate entrance on Bedford Avenue and are greeted by a painted ceiling lit by fluorescent tubes, with textures and colors reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s nightclubs that inspired the venue, along with inviting modular furniture. The space has intimate seating, interactive lighting, and perfect acoustics, thanks to the custom audiophile speakers. Walnut, leather, and fabrics ensure warm, resonant acoustics, ranging from loungy to clubby according to the performer and the mood. Marquee-style lights line the entire space, syncing to the music to create a multisensory experience. The furniture moves to make room for dancing, and the glowing bar serves up specialty cocktails curated by the Bar Lab team.

Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn marks the first opening of the Jolene Sounds Room Brooklyn concept, with Jolene Miami, located in the heart of the Downtown neighborhood on Flagler Street, slated for Spring 2023.
