Kaskade Gets Heavy with Wooli on Debut Collab Track, “Hear Me Now”

Kaskade, Grammy-nominated DJ and producer, is entering his wub-wub era, and we’re here for it! The notable house artist recently joined forces with none other than bass and dubstep DJ and producer Wooli to release their highly anticipated debut collaboration, “Hear Me Now.” 

It’s an unexpected but compelling collision, anchored by the melodic and emotional center that is MAXINE. The melodic bass-soon-to-be anthem features the powerhouse vocals of the Dutch singer-songwriter. The track takes you on the journey that Kaskade is on, all while rocking you with the energy Wooli lays down. Interestingly enough, underneath the heavier production, the track still sounds unmistakably Kaskade. 

“Hear Me Now” is the latest chapter in Kaskade’s ongoing ORIGIN// album rollout. The cinematic live production and album concept made its debut at his headline performance at Sahara Stage at this year’s Coachella. The project dives deep into a range of sounds and creative partnerships including with BUNT., Crankdat, Layton Giordani, and vocalist Natalie Jane, GLOCKENBACH/Kaitlin Aragon, and now Wooli/MAXINE. This new era stretches Kaskade beyond the sound fans have long associating with him.

But, “Hear Me Now” isn’t a random bass detour; it’s another piece of the wide sonic palettes he’s building around ORIGIN//. It also follows “A Little Bit” with Crankdat, another heavier turn that signaled Kaskade’s growing interest in bass territory. 

For an artist more than two decades into his career, the willingness to keep pushing into unfamiliar territory may be exactly what makes this chapter compelling. Kaskade isn’t abandoning the melodic house sound that built his career; instead, tracks like “Hear Me Now” show him finding ways to stretch it. Wooli brings the weight, MAXINE brings the emotion, and Kaskade keeps the record grounded in the melodic sensibility that still makes it recognizable as his own.

The chemistry displayed in the track is undeniable. Now fans can hear that collision play out LIVE when Kaskade and Wooli take the synergy to the stage on Sept 3 in Brooklyn. The show continues Kaskade’s tour for ORIGIN//, which also includes a sold-out show at Santa Monica Pier in California, Factory Town in Miami, and Austin, Texas on Nov. 20. 

But first, Kaskade’s Sun Soaked music festival returns to Huntington Beach, CA on September 12th for another momentous year. We’re sure to see this new track pop up on the decks at one of Kaskade’s two exclusive sets! Presented in partnership with Insomniac following a sold-out 2025 edition, this year’s lined up features Cassian, Matroda, BUNT., D.O.D, Lavern, Bobby Harvey, Esse, and more. Kaskade will pull double duty with a solo performance and a B2B set alongisde BUNT. With his bass era officially underway, don’t be surprised if “Hear Me Now” finds its way onto the beach.
