Andrew Bayer will bring A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home to six North American cities this winter, including Portland, Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Andrew Bayer is returning to the road with a six-date North American tour built around his fifth studio album, A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home. The run begins December 4, 2026, at 45 East in Portland and continues into January 2027, giving Bayer his first chance to play the album’s deeply personal material in intimate club settings.

An artist presale begins Thursday, September 17, followed by the general ticket sale on Friday, September 18. The complete ticketing page can be found here.

The tour announcement comes shortly after the album’s September 4 release on Ophelia Records. Written and produced at Bayer’s home in Potomac, Maryland, the project grew from a period spent away from touring as he welcomed his first son, Wesley, and worked his way across grief, parenthood and a changing idea of home.

Those themes make the venues chosen for this run especially interesting. Bayer has played festival stages including Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Creamfields and A State of Trance, yet these six shows place the new record in rooms where its smaller emotional details can sit much closer to the audience. The album may reach for expansive electronic production, though its foundation is personal enough to benefit from that proximity.

Andrew Bayer’s 2026 and 2027 Tour Dates

The tour opens with back-to-back Pacific Northwest dates at 45 East in Portland and Celebrities in Vancouver. Bayer then heads to Toronto for a December 30 show at The Mod Club before playing a New Year’s Eve event with one of his longtime collaborators, whose identity and location have yet to be announced.

The final weekend takes him to California, with appearances at Gods & Monsters in San Francisco on January 15 and Academy in Los Angeles on January 16.

  • Friday, December 4, 2026: 45 East, Portland, Oregon
  • Saturday, December 5, 2026: Celebrities, Vancouver, British Columbia
  • Wednesday, December 30, 2026: The Mod Club, Toronto, Ontario
  • Thursday, December 31, 2026: Venue and collaborator TBA
  • Friday, January 15, 2027: Gods & Monsters, San Francisco, California
  • Saturday, January 16, 2027: Academy, Los Angeles, California

The mysterious New Year’s Eve date is the obvious item to watch. Bayer has an extensive history of collaboration across progressive house and trance, including records made with Seven Lions and Armin van Buuren, which leaves plenty of room for speculation without narrowing the possibilities prematurely.

A New Chapter in Andrew Bayer’s Catalog

A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home follows a catalog that has rarely stayed in one section of electronic music for long. His 2011 debut, It’s Artificial, moved among glitch-hop, electronica and progressive house, while If It Were You, We’d Never Leave leaned further into instrumental hip-hop and atmospheric songwriting.

Bayer later turned toward vocal-led electronic music on 2018’s In My Last Life. His two-part 2022 project, Duality, explored indie-pop songwriting on one side and his trance and progressive club work on the other. That ability to move between reflective album writing and large-room dance records has become a defining part of his career.

The forthcoming shows should offer a rare meeting point between those sides of his work. Audiences can expect selections from Bayer’s broader catalog alongside the first touring performances of material from A Light That Guides Weary Travelers Home, presented in venues small enough for the record’s emotional narrative to remain visible.

More tour information, including the December 31 announcement, is expected soon. Tickets go on artist presale September 17 before the public sale begins September 18.
