IK Multimedia has partnered with Miami-based Heiga Studios to release the Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX, a new collection of premium Tone Models captured from the studio’s amplifier archive. The series was developed in collaboration with Heiga Studios Co-Founder and Head of Audio & Music Production Adrian Morales-Demori, and is intended for use in modern recording and performance environments.

The collection draws from Heiga Studios’ long-established equipment inventory, which includes rare and boutique amplifiers alongside a wide range of microphones and analog processing gear. Over the course of several months, Morales-Demori tested multiple amp and cabinet configurations while refining microphone placement, phase alignment, preamp selection, EQ, and compression settings to produce studio-engineered captures tailored for the ToneX system.

According to Morales-Demori, the project reflects both his history with IK Multimedia’s tools and his interest in extending the studio’s sonic identity beyond its physical space. He previously worked with products such as T-Racks, AmpliTube, and the MTM Immersive bundle for Dolby Atmos production. The ToneX collaboration allowed Heiga Studios’ signal chains and recording practices to be translated into a digital format accessible to users working outside of the Miami facility.

Mark Kondrat, Product Specialist and Sales Manager at IK Multimedia, noted that the series provides access to amplifier tones that many musicians would otherwise be unable to use. The collection includes hard-to-find vintage units alongside boutique and modern designs, captured through Heiga Studios’ studio signal paths and prepared for use within the ToneX ecosystem.

Studio-Captured Tones for the ToneX Ecosystem

The Heiga Studios Amp Series consists of 142 Tone Models divided into 10 collections, including nine guitar collections and one bass collection. Each collection reflects Morales-Demori’s approach to tone shaping and preset design, with a focus on genre-oriented applications and practical recording setups.

The Tone Models are compatible with ToneX software for Mac and PC, as well as ToneX hardware products such as the TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE. They can also be loaded into AmpliTube 5 where supported. This allows users to integrate the captures into studio sessions, live rigs, or hybrid workflows that combine software and hardware processing.

The release is available through the ToneNet platform and within the ToneX software marketplace. Users can purchase individual collections starting at $9.99, or obtain the full bundle for $69.99. The series became available on January 27, 2026.

Malury Imbernon, Co-Founder and CEO of Heiga Studios, described the project as a milestone for the studio, which has spent more than two decades working with major record labels, film and television studios, and commercial clients. Heiga Studios’ past work includes collaborations with companies such as Sony Music Latin, Warner Music, Universal Music, Disney, Paramount Pictures, and EA Games.

IK Multimedia continues to expand the ToneX ecosystem as a platform for sharing and performing studio-captured amplifier models. With the addition of the Heiga Studios Amp Series, the company adds a library based on a commercial studio’s recording practices rather than individual user captures, positioning the collection as a professionally curated expansion for guitarists and producers working in both studio and stage contexts.
