Cosmic Gate have dropped the second chapter of their ongoing Perspectives series, expanding on the sound they have shaped across decades of progressive and trance. Following the singles Never Erase You with Diana Miro and YOU, this new EP pushes their melodic direction while keeping the tight, modern production they have leaned into in recent years.
New Music, Familiar Precision
Perspectives EP 2 introduces three new tracks, led by the single Heaven Knows featuring RYVM and Marlene. It trades long builds and festival drops for a more measured flow built around vocal-led emotion, punchy synth work, and wide melodic leads. It sits in the same lane as the EP’s earlier singles but steps into a more polished and introspective place.
The tracks were already tested during their open-to-close homecoming set in Cologne and during their pop-up shows at Tomorrowland Ibiza, where they landed well with long-time fans and newer listeners. It shows the duo narrowing in on where they want this series to go rather than simply revisiting old formulas.
The Next Phase of Perspectives
This EP marks the second installment of a planned trilogy, which continues to chart where Cosmic Gate see progressive and trance evolving. It bridges songwriting, vocal collaborations, and the club-focused side of their sound, setting up the final part of the series while standing strong on its own.
