The track opens with piano chords and crisp percussion before introducing No/Me’s soaring vocals. Layers of atmospheric production rise toward a melodic drop that brings emotional weight without losing its club-ready energy. WHIPPED CREAM shares, “Our song ‘alive’ is about connection, about feeling life rush through you and celebrating it together. It is a house record with an anthemic, almost Florence Welch energy, carried by the incredible vocals of No/Me. I have been a fan of No/Me for years, and I love what she has been doing in the dance space. When we made it, I wanted it to feel like a scene of pure freedom on the dancefloor, a reminder that we are here, we are alive, and that is worth celebrating.”
No/Me recalls how naturally the collaboration came together. “WHIPPED CREAM and I wrote ‘alive’ the night we met; it was pure magic. She played me a track she had created earlier that day, and it immediately inspired me to sing the words, ‘we are going to be big, we are going to be great.’ I wanted to write a song that lifted my spirits the way that moment did. Music connects, uplifts, and manifests, so I am excited to gift our listeners a ball of sonic positivity.”

Raised in upstate New York, I was always a big fan of music but never really listened to electronic music. Within the first month of attending Florida State University and meeting some new friends, I was introduced to the rave scene. After seeing Ekali at my first show, I was instantly hooked. Since then, I have dived into every subgenre of electronic music, picked up DJing, and mixed for clubs and different entertainment events in Tallahassee. Once graduating with degrees in marketing and hospitality, I was hired for a sales position. However, I recently decided to leave my sales job to pursue my dream of working in the music industry. Currently, I run Magnetic Magazine's Melodic Techno Charts, along with my role as a PR and marketing specialist for different artists and labels. Some of my favorite artists are REZZ, Kyle Watson, TOBEHONEST, San Pacho, Josh Baker, HUGEL, ARTBAT, Vintage Culture, Ganja White Night, CamelPhat, Green Velvet, Jungle, Milky Chance, Paco Versailles, Franc Moody, and RÜFUS DU SOL. My favorite festivals are Hulaween (by far), EDC Orlando, and all the different venues during Miami Music Week. Outside of music, I love sports (especially hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball, and spike ball), going to the movies, working out, sushi, Chick-fil-A, food in general, and hanging with my dog Maui and my cat Loki.
